I'll throw in GunJaCrew as well. Anyhow, I'm far from being the best, I know that much. Lately, I've actually been getting worse at this game (sigh). Being an older gamer, my attention span has nearly diminshed completely and the reflexes are minimal at best. Hey i've played on euro servers alot. In fact the last time i remember seeing both you and your brother on at the same time i was in SEFgamestores server =/.... I just prefer the unreal servers when thy're up. Make no mistake though, 90% of the time I would choose midway dedicateds over someone elses server.

Maybe your just playing the wrong people, therefore you dont get listed? You have to get your name around, i mean i have played this game most days since the demo and i have never heard of you being a good player and i pretty much know of or have played every good player on the game. You have to play wiht someone more than once to be able to judge them. Try playing in midway occassionally then british players will be able to see how good you are :) Give me your top 10 US player list and see if it matches anywhere near mine, it will be interesting to see who u have on there becasue your probably not playign the best which is why your not rated as one of the best.

My Top 5 US player List:

TragiC X/ Tragic187 - Pwns everyone in every game type in Euro or US servers. Rapes hard with shock, sniper and rockets.

ShinDeon Z - Whores teh server but rapes non the less, incredibly skillfull player who know's everthing about the game

Future Z- My CTF defending teammate. Whenever i made a mistake during CTF, he was always there to cover my back and return that flag in seconds, with he and i on defence the flag rarely got out of the base :)

C3RV3ZA vBi- CTF defence god, also rapes at any game mode but i remeber his CTF defending the most,
No one touched the flag when this stud was on Defence :)

Tricky jBi- The only player who could get a 1:1 ratio with me by using a light character, many players didnt rate him as he died alot but he was without a doubt one of the best shock users and he didnt seem to care dying for his team + Great flag runner, the best i saw :)

There are loads more great US player i could have chosen such as most of DS or 777 (now LGD)and some random players such as fireballs, LeX, Trip ect, but those 5 players made the biggest impact on me :)

If only i could play in the unreal servers, apparently some of u US dudes get almost no lag on midway, yet on the unreal servers i get close to a 1sec delay on shot. guess thats why i havent played in ages, getting killed due to lag sucks when u no u wouldnt die on a smooth server. I dont judge Americans who play in euro servers badly, Tragic is one of the only players i no who ownz US and Euro servers, infact the only way i can kill him on US host was to luckly reflect his sniper last time i played him... what a stud[face_dancing]

Hey Gravity, you and your bro were extremely fun to play in CTF when I had a friend I knew playing with me as well. We didn't get to play a lot of games together, but we did some.. If you recall, we both won some and lost some, but it was a fight for every single point. Of course, when I had some random guy, it was a slaughter; me being on the receiving end. That's what teamwork is about, and I admired you guys for it. :)

I haven't been able to play for almost a month now thanks to Katrina, but I'd love to have some more games like that.. problem is a lot of my friends don't play anymore and I prefer to play with better skilled people than newbies who don't know how to play yet.

On a side note, you didn't trash talk unless you had a reason to, which is another reason you have my respect. I.. dislike.. people who trash talk while they are losing [face_raised_brow]. Wierdos.

I didn't know you were over in the UK though, which probably explains why we didn't play many games.. lol.

I love how everyone thats ever played this game claims they went undefeated in 1v1's. I remember this one time I was sittin in a 4 man unreal server under my aristocrat tag (which is now expired) and you joined up on decay. then left when the score was 6 to -2 in my favor =/ I love having a good memory.

gl= bounces to much, proxi-detonation

I totally agree with you, Hobomaster. But always reminds yourself that most people here are children, if I read most posts correctly. Quite a few of them must have had the game bought for them, if you see what I mean.

Anyway, getting upset about a game or any of its WEAPONS/CHARACTERS/MOVES/ABILITIES/MAPS/etc. is very very clever...(sarcasm). As much as I agree with you and respect your vision of things, Hobomaster, I praise you not to try to change them, time and puberty will do it for you :)

Every single person i play uses the rocket / warrior spirit glitch. It's impossible to tell who's the best at this game b/c this game is dominated by a glitch. Everyone who's good or "leet" i end up going 1v1 Rocket glitch war... Makes me want to host every game and boot everyone that uses a nakthi. Luckily i don't play this game enough to give a **** about gay little ranting ****. Host wins, if they didn't, its a fluke, b/c they were beaten by the Rocket glitch.

Im going to admit, last time i checked RiP was the best clan. Gnome was full of cocky members, that i couldnt stand. I remember FlamingoGnome the best, because he would get mad at me for hitting him with a

I dont play with anyone who uses that glitch, none of the best players use it becasue it is cheap. Probably becasue alot of good players use Necris and dont have to be cheap to win :)

lol cerveza is a team player, thats one of the main reasons for being in a clan. I meant rape about what he said to you lolz (but you know that your just trying to twist). Narc your good but your not that good, cerveza is one of the best, im sure he would beat you if he played 1 vs 1's. Just my opinion. Alot of good players dont play 1 vs 1's because its not a true test of skill as its all about hitting people in the back etc, thats the reason i dont play official 1 vs 1's, and the game is about fun, some players (myself included) dont find 1 vs 1's fun.

Massacre does abuse the EMP combo....we all know this, but I have quit doing it. I'd rather use straight rockets and shock combos. I've been using EMP the way its meant to be used. I've been in many servers were people are using the EMP combo quite frequently and I haven't been complaining about it

you can say that about any online game though. Connection speed will always play a factor but thats the nature of online gaming.

Actually i played a game where the lower the connection speed the better you were lol. But that's b/c there wasnt shot delay. Your shots come out whenever you hit the trigger. The people you shot at were just lagged so you had to shoot ahead. Sort of like the shot delay but instead of turning left and hitting the trigger and it comming out of the side of your gun. The players got to see the actual person looking at them shooting them.

But games that have shot delay are highly based on connection. Upload plays a big factor. If you can upload your rejection faster than they can upload a sniper shot. All you have to do is reflect then jump out of the way b4 their shot actually initially hits there. You could even shoot b4 they hit reject and if they hit reject after yours and they still upload faster than you shoot. Dur you get rejected. Shot delays are gay like that. Like if you shoot 2 rockets but they shoot you right before your second one. The second one wouldnt come out on their screen. While on your's their shot would have actually came out after your rocket with the same connection.

Anyone ever heard of, The rich get richer and the poor stay the same :D Funny eh? oh well. If you suck. get a job and buy the 5mb connection. You won't suck anymore.

But on my screen i'll be ahead running, and they will hit the image they see on their screen with the delayed shot. while on mine they aren't close to hitting me. *happens with light characters constantly* but i still recieve full damage. I love it when i shoot someone though on my screen and it does 0 damage b/c i hit their lag shadow rather than the actual image. Mind this, you only see the lag shadow the whole entire time you play. Rather than having it revesed. Shots have no delay and the movement has delay. Reflections become the most useful weapon.

At least this is on my 1.8mb cable connection.

Rocket Launcher + Shot delay = Suicide. One of the reasons why I like the rip jack. I've NEVER had shot delay with it.

the worst weapon i found isnt the rl b/c of shot delay but the flak cannon. If i shoot right after / before they reflect on my screen. I'll get reflected. If i shoot as they reflect. I get reflected. It's only really useful when you are behind people.

the flak is best when you switch up between secondary and primary. Shoot a secondary then a primary. then shoot a primary again then a secondarys then shoot a secondary again then another then shoot a primary. Its like boxing. My favorite thing to do is to lob a secondary then quickly shoot a primary then switch to melee. They will reflect the secondary then right after that the primary hits them then I reflect back the secondary to complete the ownage. Works pretty well to pull that trick out right in the heat of battle when they aint especting it. I only wish I had a motion capture card. I had some pretty nice flak ownage when I was using it for a good week over the summer. Its a very good weapon if you can adapt to reflections and lag.

But with rockets there just aint anything you can do once you charge them up so if you like me and like to squeeze off shots in tight spaces where someone wouldn't espect a shot to come from bullet lag will **** your timing all up and leave you shooting a wall and killing yourself.

We actually play quite a bit in the midways these days since they're up. Sucks playing in a midway then switching to a decent server, 'cause you get acclimated to the lag and I end up leading everybody with my snipe in lagless servers. I fire snipe on midways like I fire rockets on unreals.
