Wraith vs Ethereal

What are the differences? Ethereal lasts longer, and the primary reason I use wraith is to be unlockable.

Ethereal makes you unlockable, invisible and shifts your position. Thats about it.

Wraith on the other hand counters so many attacks, it is by far the best adrenalin in the game.

Here is everything Wraith counters. There might be more though sinch i just dont notice they are using things on me.

Freeze
Poison
Fear
Primal Scream
Concussion
Head Turret
Flash
Homing (We'll not really. It does in single player and instant action but does not counter it on xbox live. Hopefully a patch will clear this up.)



Wraith also makes you unlockable, you take less damage and are able to see invisible/ethereal players perfect.

One thing I really like about wriath is how everybody lights up red so i know right where to go and not waste something like U-damage

The only problems with wraith is it is harder to see what weapon somebody has out and what adrenalin powers they might have active.

Aren't Wraith and Ethereal sort of different types of Adrenaline?

They are different but they are used with the same exact characters except Necris Selket. The only thing that makes them similar is they are both unlockable.

I see. I don't really know them because I rarely use Necris characters. Ethereal sounds good, but Wraith seems better.

I worded that wrong. What i meant to say is necris selket does not have ethereal. She has wraith though.

Ethereal doesn't seem to be necessary actually, if you have Wraith. I mean it's good, but if you can't be locked on during Wraith, that's a plus already. I've never had a prolonged fight with someone using Ethereal though, so I don't really know first hand.

Besides not really being able to see what weapon someone is holding while in wraith you also can't tell if they have U-damage. They will still show up in the standard red characters.

^Yeah that kinds sucks. It happens with Warrior Spirit too. But I think the good outweighs the bad in that situation, for the most part.

Ive come to the conclusion that Wraith is DEFINATELY Better in most cases, HOWEVEr.... Since ethereal lasts longer... In some cases where my oponents are not poisening me, or freezing me or anything like that, then I use Ethereal instead when taking the flag and running!!

Or on the rare occassion that I am having to hide with the flag I will use ethreal instead of wraith simply because it lasts longer and I cant be found by radar, and people cant just aim around and luckily lock on to me to find me.

Constant Wraith is more of a Deathmatch move than for CTF.

True, but wraith is EXCELLENT for escaping with the flag against better players.

If you have two REALLY GOOD people defending the flag.. wraith can be your best friend!
