when joining a clan does the person has to change its gamertaga, meaning paying for another one ?

yea or u can do wat my bro did. he called xbox and told them that people are booting him cause of his name (and i sent him bad feedback on his name to spice it up a bit [face_laugh] ) and he even cried lol ***** but they let him change his gt for free.
