Case in point... Gee, let's sit comfortably in my own little server with Apophis, narely break out a weapon and rely on rejecting the entire game - only to have someone such as myself (who basically sucks and has barely played within the past month) come start Ice Bursting ya with Sapphire... only to be swiftly booted once I start gaing ground on your lead.

So from there, I choose to renter your little foray, only to see ShiningForce123 get booted, then re-enter, only for me to then get kicked again.

Ya, I suppose I'm being a bit harsh - but then again, I've been having a rough week, so I have this dire need to blow off some steam. Usually I won't call anyone out directly, but there comes a point in time, where I no longer have tolerance for the unnecessary BS.

After all, this morning happened to be the first time I've hopped online with UC2 in weeks, and naturally this unsportsmanlike conduct happens within five minutes of finding my rhythm. Figures. These little punks are a prime reason why I barely play anymore.

Well, I suppose it's time to keep my DEDICATED UC2 server running full-time again. At least this way I won't have to worry about little inadequate babies who are obsessed with stats. That, or having to deal with these chumps who get their panties all up in a bunch over a single kill.

Usually I just laugh this crap off and take getting booted as a compliment, but like I said... there's days when I don't find this server abuse amusing what-so-ever.

Joining a server for 5 mins is harder now then before with all the booting/banning going on. I tend to get banned much faster then before dunno the reason, but it's happening way to frequently.

Very well put. People are always going to act shady whenever stats are an issue. It's the same thing in real life, as we live in such a cut-throat society where individuals will make every effort to screw over the next guy if it means their own situation will be improved somehow.

Like Shred mentioned too, we have such a small community circulating at the moment, and it's difficult to actually find many good games going yet. Therefore, when there does happen to be a match worth joining, these little server whores buck it up for the rest of us that just wanna' have fun and enjoy some healthy competition.

Here's my take on this, you may or may not agree.

If you can host a game where there's little to no lag for other users by all means host as much as possible, because with such a minimal community left remaining there aren't too many reliable servers left. If the host abuses certain things like sniping n such, try to counter'em. At this point, there's nothing you can do and its pointless to continue arguing with the host about certain things which tends to get you booted often. The only servers left reliable for me are RoK Catastrophe, Dr. Paradox, myself, RoK Dark Skills, Mr Minime, some of the blessed members, and a few randoms which i can't remember at the moment. So what im saying is if your connection is good then host often, but don't go showing off like your the best or make stupid claims either.

I am the greatest host whore ever. I host reject, host emp, host snipe, host melee, host boot, host ban, I lag up the server, I have a crappy server. Man... You name it, I do it. I'm so bad.

I think i had a pretty decent server. But sim is right. The community is too low for complaints. And it's almost like you have to let the host have his way or one less place you can play.

Well I say if you planned on joining a server and using the sniper rifle yourself, then it's fine to get a little pissed if the host is sniping as well.Although if you are using shock, stinger, or Bio, then I feel you don't have a viable reason to complain.

Hosts are usually alot worse than most players. Take example Captain Karkos (back in the day) he was only good on his own server.
