Okay, by now we've all come to the realization that UC2 didn't quite become the mainstream hit everybody expected it to be - for obvious reasons that have been covered many times over.
Anyhow, this has got me to thinking... Would I still have the deep passion for UC2, if it became as huge as say... Halo 2? My initial thought is... Probably not.
Let me explain further. Now, I've alway been a Halo fan myself and was just as excited as the next chum on November 9th 2004. However, that game turned into a giant ball of hype with no substance to really keep my attention for long.
Why? I can only reason that the drones of gamers who became addicted to Master Chief, ultimately detered me from continuing to give this franchise my devotion. I hate hopping on the bandwagon of conformity with everybody else, especially when my heart was telling me that there's better games out there.
Granted, it would be nice if our community was a bit larger - but then again... who really cares? Especially if the hard-core continue to stick around and breath life into this game. In a way, we have our own little secret society with an experience that's hands-down deeper than most online titles.

In regards to what snoogs and shred said. Yes UC2 should have been in halo's spot. But since it is not, WE know that this game rocks. But since we all play one another, honestly none of us suck. We just have weaknesses that maybe hard for a non-fan to figure out. But, in hopes that UC3 keeps majority of the layout, then we are better then the ones that are going to start at UC3. So I am hoping the epic get off the hinds and market. I will also like you guys to let all of your gamer friends know about it. That way we can cover more ground by word of mouth. I got people involved with UC2 through college. I hooked up my game to the plasma screen in the auditorium. And with humans being so nozy, they came in. Then wanted to play. Then I had people go home to get there's so that we can have a system link party. During the peak time of us playing there was at least 35 people in the auditorium. It was crazy. Those days were fun.

It is pretty cool, but even better if I had my own. LOL. I want to get the 360 and ps3. I know I said the ps3 was not on my list, but they are coming out with some wicked games on there. My favorite game of all time...Final Fantasy VII is going to be remade for this console. I would spend all that money for the console just to have that game.

I have no friends to play LAN. Although, a few of my old buddies invited me sometime soon. I've only done one LAN, which was earlier this year.

WEll I ususally cant get that many people over here at once either.
Last weekend or the week before (ahem) cant remeber, I had some peeps over and we got it ill like old school.I dont mean video games either.Anyways, a few brought over PC's and man I was in heaven.
I made all of em install the game and wnet nuts on 'em.
I always opt to just not play. They were like "oh, so your that bad ass huh".Makin fun of me and stuff.
So I was like ok, " all of you against me".
They laghed, I said "I got $20 on it 2 beotchs."
The laughing stoped, and I raked it in.Course I felt bad, and just got some bluntage outta the deal, did'nt mak 'em pay up, but I coulda.
It's not like they did'nt know either. These are the same guys I used to play 99 with, and I've beaten them at countless games, but iused to really hand it to 'em on Killer Instinct.
My buddies used to hustle fools on SoulCal and TekkenTag with me.They'd get a "N" drunk, then let him beat me a fwe times, then they bet him he could'nt touch me.
Always walys won, except once.
That was the last time.THis Japaneese freakin monster a Tekken kept me in the air with Hworang like 3 straight matches.I did perfect him on the first round though.
Supposedly this dude was like Tekken 4 champ and stuff, not sure if it's true, but his name was Tran.

The games I used to win countless on was ahem....Marvel vs. Capcom 2, Soul Caliber 2 (Nightmare), and Perfect Dark. Those were like the best multipler games for me. Though we do like some of the new stuff, but nothing compared to the alloted time we played these games. I also meant perfect dark for n64. Our favorite pc lan party game was warcraft III. I was ok, but always needed support if there were rushers playing.
