I think they should add Yoda to the game! That would be cool don't you think? Especially watching a little green dude run/jump around the scream yelling "the force is with you". lol

Yoda is a totally cool idea. It would be like playing as the Monkey in TimeSplitters games. Smaller than everyone but still really good lol.

They should let you pick a weapon from the type of chracter you are(such as human).Meaning you get to choose your melee weapon.

I do not think it is too early for a patch, the game should play normally, if not great, the first day released.

Patch is required when needed.

DLC is not. Don't rush them either Epic will amaze all if they have time.

Ya a patch is needed for some of the gliches... wich arnt bad... i agree some characters form the MK games...*Sub-zero, *Scorpion, *Sektor, *Smoke... at least one of them lol... all start with *S*...as a map DL i hope they re-amp the old *Osiris2 map wich would be nice since they re-amped *Tempest...as a old character... bring back *Xan or something cause Xan should always be in a Unreal game or something lol... thanks for the great game Epic plz consider the thought...

Yah, I kinda expected the last view days already the message while connecting to UC2-XBL... You MUST download content first before continue the game! Owell... I was already happy to see Epic officially confirming the problems and working on a patch. Now, hopefully all our wishes besides the fixes can be stuffed in one patch.

D*mn I read that there will be only 10 bots and those bots are the same that were already in character select screen (the place you have to press X to choose your char/alt as shown in the alts video)

You can see pictures of the 10 characters on the random button and the four maps are already listed in the XBox Live stats and you can see pictures of them there. The 10 alt characters and the 4 maps are also shown in some preview videos.

I know, the patch is all I want. I could wait much longer for the extra characters and maps. This game really hooked me, but now I am very frustrated with the online play. It actually seems worse now than before.

I want the patch to hurry up and come out. I want to try out Apophis. Out of all the bots, he gives me the most trouble, so immediatly I start to think, "If Apophis is played by a skilled player, I bet he'd be unstoppable." Of course, any of the characters in the game can be unstoppable if played by a skilled player, but when the bots control the characters they tend to do stupid mistakes. However, a bot Apophis always gives me trouble, therefore leading me to believe that he can, in fact, be one bad mo'fo.

I think there's still some time left for them to get the patch out before everyone loses interest entirely...but if it goes beyond, say, 7/11/05, then there could be a danger of it for sure i'd say :(

The sooner, however, the better...if it gets released now, I'd say they'd get a bonus couple of months time for people to remain interested in the game :D And if they get all the lag/bugs/router issues settled, then maybe a year! O_O

I'll definately be playing this game for a while if they fix the bugs.

I love Unreal games, and this one is a huge disaster. Unreal games are made for online play. That's what the majority of Unreal fanbase look for in this game.

I know if this one doesn't get fixed, well, let's just say Quake 4 is getting much more anticipated every day.

Right. It's a disaster because Unreal games are all about online, and the online sucks.

the lag is the only issue others complain about the weaponry being unjust but that may be becuase of the lag giving ceratin weapons an unjust advantage such as rockets and warrior spirit allowing you to fire 3 rockets back to back for a total of 6, far better then drunken rockets but aside from that the game is very decent and hopfully the patch will fix the lag/freeze/discon issues

Dude Apophis is just another skin of Sobek, he's just programed to be an unstoppable, whore in 1 player who always steals your kills, and he's only trouble when you put him on masterful and god-like

I don't know why they won't give us an update on the patch. Seriously, what is the problem with the fans knowing what is going on behind the scenes. I mean, bungie does it too. Bungie says that they don't give dates because they change all the time. But who cares if they change. You just say "Okay guys, it looks like the date has been pushed back about two weeks, just wanted to let you know." So that people won't bombard you with questions about when the patch or playlist update or DLC or whatever is coming. Epic should do this too.

Why aren't people posting like mad in this thread....? It's the only thing I care about as far as UC2 is concerned right now and I dont know about you all but 3 months since the game's release and NO updates at all doesn't cut it for me. And not even an update on the update since 5/12!? Come on.
