A lot of my friends are PC gamers I have no clue why. But I would really appreciate someone on here to post something telling me what parts to buy and piece together to get the best computer I can have. Try and list the names of the pieces to so that way i can go and buy the stuff I need. I know I need to buy one of those big tower thingies and I think a motherboard whatever that is. Again thx all information will be greatly appreciated.

Also today I played for i think about 1 hour on ONE 1 Man Army's account to c if people would either drop the server or boot me. One did drop the server. Oh and u were putting up a pretty nice game Midgetdestroyer. My moms came home so i had to go do some stuff. Maybe next time we can finish that fight on your server score i think was 9 to 7 me. consider it a warm up game. tonight I will be on so if anybody is willing to host a 5 man survival with 2 combatants I would appreciate it cause i will be playing all night baby. Have not been on in so long can't wait to see what some of u guys got.

Well, if you feel like creating your own PC - I'm not very knowledgeable about what you'll need. My recommendation is to buy a top-of-the-line Alienware with all the Bells and Whistles, that is, if money isn't an issue. Get some liquid-cooled gaming beheamoth.[face_drooling]

I have heard about that liquid thing I think it cools the system but is very expensive. Also that Alien ware is good but way expensive and u can make a better one by piecing one together but I don't know still which is better need to research that alien ware more.

Well, if you're on a budget - you could always pick up a Commodore 64.[face_idea]

LOL - I was just joking around. The Commodore 64 came out back in the early to mid '80's.

sites like www.tigerdirect.com or www.ibuypower.com give some pretty decent prices on gaming PCs if you're not interested in building it yourself

Newegg.com my friend. Also dual core is not worth it right now, and won't be for awhile. The reason is because you won't be using all of the threading features, and may result in major bottlenecks if tried. But by all means get it when you can, but you may be a consumer that is unlucky and get a bugged version with no way to exchange. (Damn I hate intel). If everything is runing smoothly (until Vista comes) you should be ok with some neat stuff if you decide to go without dual. I tell you what. I can set you up with something good. Alienware is such a ripoff. I know people, and myself that can do better. Alienware looks cool. But they aren't great. You wanna be able to look in your case and see no wires, SATA, and plug-in atx. I also found out that alienware "tuck" some wires under the motherboard. Uh, alien haven't you heard of cross talk, jetters, DATA-PACKET LOSS. Think about what they do. they get your parts from somewhere else (Now dell manufacturers MOSTLY) and put it together for you. You can do that. I can do that. If you plan on getting a liquid cooling system you better make sure you are getting own for the soul purpose of exceeding voltage limit,over-clock cycles correctly. Over-clocking is the only reason you should even consider it. But if you do have to note that most liquid cooling only keeps it at room temperate. So when you hear people say hey my tempurate never goes over such and such. Well you tell them that the liquid cooling was designed for only that. A cool looking version of what, A fan. More money for no reason. Plus the maintance for it sucks. Also go for amd, they are kicking pentiums ass. And whatever for video card. If you want the best get a motherboard with dual core (for future upgrades) sata cabling for harddrive cd/dvd, raid set-up. At least 1g ram. And creative sound cards all the way. I prefer the audigy 4 but you will do good with the 2. Who needs 7.1 anyways. [face_devil] And if you really wanna become a guru, check out tom's hardware online. They put all kinds of equipment to there limits. I even heard pentium crying. ROLFMAO. Think of it as a battle between equipments. The winner is the won that servives the "Gauntlet". Anywho, they will give you some great advice on what to get, and diffinitely what not to get.

Oh most definitely. Now the associates degree means nothing to most top companies. You now need a bachelors. So the only way to get around it and let them know you can do the work is by certification. I have my associates degree, and tried to apply were I was working. They turned be down before the interview. I did my ccna cert and then reapplied and I got hired in two days. So yes it helps so much
