War Path is looking really good. Kinda reminds me of UC1 but if u guys still love that fast pace kick your a$$ stuuf then go to Teamxbox.com and check it out in the new releases it comes out 6-6-06 lol. Once again it is going to be great if it is anything like UC.


P.S. I know u old UC1 players will be loving what u see.

it is a xbox game not 360 but i think it will be backwards compatible.

Yep, Digital Extremes is behind the helm of this new game and I recently played the online demo on an OXM Disc. It definitely has an Unreal / Pariah type feel with upgradeable weapons and such - and it's only $30 bucks to boot.

Looks really nice, I think I'm gonna get that, but I hope it doesnt have the Quake online problems, oh I wonder if it will be better than painkiller.

oh and before judging it check the warpath basic tactics 101 on the IGN site

Yea Eena I am looking forward to painkiller. that game looks really good to. I am definitly getting those 2 games.

I played the demo today.

I liked the way the game looks, but It did'nt do much else for me.Fells like Halo IMO, but alittle better.

I agree on your demo thoughts Shred. It definitely seems like an interesting game, but something about it just didn't hold my attention for real long. Whenever playing it, I just kept thinking how I'd rather invest more time with UC2 or something.

By the way, it does have a bit of a Halo feel to it - at least the visuals do. It was fun, but the dwindling support for Xbox is also an issue at the moment. Plus, the single player campaign has absolutely no voice-overs whatsoever (which may not be a big deal).

WEll your in luck, I know Fevered secrect tactic....shhh dont tell anyone but if you use the Malcom character you can do this move called Homo-ing and it's pretty useful.Just get ur Rox and turn on homo-ing and do the 6 spread.

Try that.

Pretty sure the game is out today, If it is I will post when I go check but 2 sites say 6/6/06 and that was yesterday so I hope so.

nope, I played the demo inside the EB I used to work at.I asked and it was Nada,Tuesday is the day, and maybe sometimes on EXTREMELY rare occasions one will be late on a Wednesday.

I did'nt ask about the date cause it did'nt get me hype at all really.

Nah, over here at Gamestop they do't even have it in their library, so I guess I'll go to the EB (far away from me) this weekend to get it.

They had a demo, but it was nto released.

I guarantee you Gamestop will have it the same day, they are the same company now, and that was the case before they merged anyway.

Basically Gamestop bought out EB to basically take the name.

You'll see Gamestops turned into EB, but Gamestop did the buying out.

Hehe I got the Prerecoded call from the President in myhort stint with them

Wow, thanks guy for all that info, also I think some sites like IGN need to fix that but anyway EB/Gamestop better get it added soon to their upcoming list, because last I checked if it's not even in their library then who knows because even games that won't come out for possibly years are on their inventory. But since I know that I think we all should play that demo more because it rules, and I love the grenades, this may be the next great game Unreal console fans have been looking for, but so may prey, and painkiller. Who knows imo this kicks the crap out of painkiller, but I don't know about prey.
