I just have to get this off of my chest, completly ignore me if you wish....
I had just got this game (yesturday), enjoyed abit of single player and then decide to go online today. First game I go in is a deathmatch, had fun came 3rd and everyone in the room was having a laugh.
Next game I decide CTF.
Start playing in the room for 2 mins, Ii kill the host once, then again, then for a 3rd time (with a melee combo this time). The host (who has 'raiden' and seemed to think he was some sort of special person) then proceeded to call me a 'melee whore' and then said i'm being kickedout of the room....
I was like 'WTF' then just decided this guy was a complete **** head. The sad thing was he was an adult....

Any of you had any really bad experiances you want to tell us all about? :|

i agree this booting thing is getting way out of hand, this and leaving the game because u are about to lose the game all the ppl that i play against that are GODLIKE never stay in a game for too long because they are about to lose

I really hate rank whores, who would kick everyone out of a game to protect their precious ranking, i'm getting really sick of it, I wish people would just play the game the way it should be played, FOR FUN!

So, after playing several games on live, i've learned to live without a rank, I just don't care about it anymore, so if you ever see a room being hosted by Neoneva (my GT), then kill me all I want, that's what i'm there for, and obviously to have a good time. :)

yea i dont like that to much. They just get mad that they are losing so much because they are the host. they want to feel big and bad unstopable

I've yet to find someone that stuck around for more than couple of games. It's always like "i can't win in this game at all F this" or some other lame excuse to quit the game. This one kid was complaining that I had "way too many kills ...". Yessir, cause I fragged your ass to the ground :P

I have my ass handed to me all the time ... so what?

Haven't run into any rank whores but i've seen plenty of weapon noobs who can't stand to get owned by a melee player. Hello melee is a big part of the game if you don't like it go play gay ass Halo.

Im fairly easy going person. I dont boot people unless they are being asses ... namely racial remarks are a one way tickets to gettin that ass booted.

I have. It was team deathmatch. I was with one of my friends and the host was with someguy. At the end I had 27 killes out of fourty and my team won. He got mad cause he thought he was the "bomb" and he booted me cause I was better than him.

Screw Rating!!! A low rank with high skills gives you an advantage. The enemy lets their gaurd down and SSWWOOOOSSHH! You come around kickin' their A$$!

But when I play with my friends we play with bots(for now) and I try to make it private but it never seems to work out, someone always ends up coming in??? Anyone know how to fix this???I need 3 humans, and 3 or better yet 4 bots on the other team, TDM

I almost never encounter problems like those mentioned. But I also almost never play on non-dedicated servers.

of course...there is a small delay playing off of your own server and you must get used to that...I have and Midway servers suck bad, the unreal servers have gotten alot better since there is now a cap limit in ctf and tdm only goes to 50

This happend a couple of times to me recently - Its reassuring that I'm not alone. I've only recently bought UC2, so I'm still learning the etiquette!
To be kicked (presumably because I fed him a rocket or two) is v. annoying....

I've been booted numerous times because i self-destruct. People just have to realize it is a game. People say it is a cheap move, but really its just as useful as smash with george, or homing with malcolm. People that boot you are just losers who can't stand to lose. I have my friends on my list and that is usually the only games i play (nighthawk 444444 has an amazing server and great fun on it, always laughing and joking people). Try just finding good people to add to your friends list and play with them.
