Montage 10

just thought I'd give those don't don't regularly give my site a visit a heads-up that M10 has finally been released. I've moved on to playing UT2k4, so the second half of the montage is devoted to that, so this serves as a "farewell to UC2" montage, being a collection of some of my favorite shots from the past 9 montages. Enjoy it.

You make some of the best montage clips period. The effects you use are outstanding, and well selected music to boot. Good job. [face_applause]
For those who may still have a problem viewing the video, I highly recommend you dwnld the VLC media player. It has just about every codec known to man.

decent video. Some good 2k4 frags more towards the end of the 2k4 part. You didnt abuse the RypelCam as much as I thought you were gonna in the beginning. :D You seemed to shoot through the UC2 frags a little quick and didnt really get to see what happened as much as the Ut2k4 ones. But still good nonetheless.

Some good new ideas I havent seen in other frag videos.

^got it...and this file still kills my VLC player every damn time. Video on the net always seems to be a hassle every now and then. There should be ONE file format, with ONE or TWO compression rates at the most....not billions.

Argh! Downloading this file kept crashing my PC, but I finally was able to get everything to work. Real Good Job Augy![face_applause] I especially enjoyed the opening sequence. Anyhow, I love making Montages myself - even though I've only made 2 so far - and only 1 is actually worth watching.

Great work. I dont understnad it but you make the game (UC2) seem to look better and run smooth...ITs nutz.

But I got a little chocked u[ watching this and seeing so many people I used to play or played a few times from WAY back.IT was a pretty damn good summing up of UC2.

Freakin The 2k4 stuff was tight, but the UC2 part was alot coller to me just cause of all the improvments to the visuals and stuff.

You should use spectator mode in 2k4 to record some poeple other.IT look grreat for movies and stuff.

Yes, it's true, I don't really check these boards at all, but seeing as I have a thread here I probably owe it to everyone who replied to at least look ;)

Shred, yeah, 100 ping and no netcode makes augy a dull boy. We'll find a UTComp server and throw down. By the way, do you have a good link for the UC2004 mod? Google turned up uc2004.com, which links to 2007world.com or something and it looks like a dead end to me.

I'm really glad everybody seems to like it. I must acknowledge the criticism that the uc2 portion was rushed. Avid's finicky-ness (word?) with its project files meant that I couldn't recover my original UC2 portion after I had to reinstall my OS. So, I threw together a seperate entry in a few days, and furthermore I had made the mistake of putting it on a time schedule beforehand to meet the ut2k4 portion, so I had too many frags for the amount of time I could cram them into. But after exposing myself to the limitless possibilities of the ut2k4 demo system and rypelcam, the uc2 portion was not nearly as interesting to work on as the ut2k4 portion, which of course allowed me to captured frags from multiple camera angles and so on. And moreover I had been criticised for abusing slow-mo in disc2 of montage 9, so I wanted to let people see some of their favorite frags in real time and keep things moving. I think it's cool to see a shot you saw before at 10% real-time speed being played in real time. Lets you see how it really looked to me. And I had a hard time cutting some of those frags, because alot of them were talked about for weeks afterwards between those in my circle or those on my boards, and so everybody expected to see certain frags in the best of ;)

I like the game to look cool, and not like stupid highlghters colored on everyone....screw that.Not to mention it really is noobish IMO, if that type of thing concerns you.

Since your al about the 1v1's, and when you decide you wanna play me,pick a non Comp server and will do.

Of course you got about a 3 second taste of the real deal last time.

I know how you are, and you like to be good, so why make it easy????/

You'll be better in the long run w/o using it.

Comp players in regular servers get raped, and they scream and cry that there is no comp, and then try to get you to go to a comp server with them.

This is how almost every comp dependant player behaves.
