UT2K4 kb/m setups...

This is mainly to Shred, and I know it's already somewhere else on the forum but I'm too lazy to search, so anyway...

I'm missing my e, x, 4 and 5 key. And I use a 5 button mouse.

So any reccomended keyboard/mouse setups please?

No, I'm talking about binding weapons/jump etc to keys or mouse. I'm awful with the keyboard so I'm just asking for some comtable setups which might work well. And I use wasd to move.

More people visit this forum... so I posted it here. Have a problem? Contact a mod and get them to move it, if it's bothering you that much. [face_raised_brow]

No one can tell you how to bind your keys. I will tell you this though. Grab your keyboard and pretend that you are playing with the WASD set-up. Now use your fingers to press the keys around WASD. Whichever one feels the most comfortable (mines is moving my index finger from d to f and my weakest weapon/desperation bindings are keys pressed from my index finger) should be your primary weapon choice. Also you have to remember that binding keys may not give you that faster ability to dodge, since you have to remove your finger from WASD, so keep that in mind when adding your weapons. For example if you don't dodge forward or back alot, then whatever finger you use on w or d should have your better bindings pressed by those fingers. Now keep doing this until you have covered all your weapons from best to least and finger movement from easiest to hardest. I always make my hardest finger reach binded to the super weapons, as you won't be using that key more then the others.

Al things UC2 includes the community.

The community as a whole is leaning toward a game that still has life and competition left on it.

We all have the right to speak.

Besides these 2k4 threads I THINK bring us toghther, instead of whining about some sort of Whoreing etc etc, **** talking...so all good IMO.

Evryone (mostly) seems more concerned with being friends now, rather than talking crap.

Like Fevered getting tore a new one everyday is a good example.

im thinking of upgrading my pc's specs, after ive payed out my insurance. i want to get 1-2gig of ram, 512 graphix card, 3.5ghz amd athlon and a dvd drive. how much would that cost?(i dont know about computers)

For starters 3.5 is too much for amd. Honestly you will not need it. go for a nvidia 7900GT dual sli, 2 gig ram if you want. Just go to newegg.com or pricegrabber.com. You should be fine.

Are you speaking about a Dual core or single hyperthraded?

Dual Core is ok with 3.5 but all the threads will not be used. So you are buying a product that nothing can use it's full capacity. Example buying a 4 wheel drive car with only 3 wheels that actually turn at the same time. Get my drift... LOL. Anyways why buy something that much, and you are not able to use it all. You might as well wait for it something that can use it and wait. Technology is good for dropping prices. So waiting won't hurt. Plus you WILL NOT get 3.5 giga hertz from amd's hypertransport. Now you can't even get that for Intel. All that number means is how fast is travels within (trying to make in analogy) the cpu area of affect. But your system speed is what counts, and will drop you cpu significantly. Hope I explained it good. I can further if you like.
