Today I finally achieved my godlike ranking. I managed to hold onto it for about 5 games (which I won) then droped down again.
I know the ranking system requires you to play people equal toyour level or better to rank up, but if all my friends are below me in rank and I play with them is it fair for me to drop?
IDK I might be crazy.

its kinda stupid
because not many people get to a level 4 or 5
i was a level 4 at one point
but how can you keep a level cause you never know who you play till you are in the game
and its hard to find high levels

It took me a week to finally achieve a 5 and I lost it in like 8 games with my friends.

How does ranking work? I never win games but my rank never goes down. I honestly don't care about my ranking but i'm just wondering. Is it based on your win/loss rating? Maybe quality kills to total kills? I dunno.

I am not sure exactly, it seems as though you only rank up by killing players of equal or greater skill. But I am not certain.

I don't think i've ever seen a game with a ranking system people liked, but that may just be me :/
I don't care about my rank anymore for these reasons:
1) The ranking systems are usually messed up anyway
2) Knowing myself, I would probably get paranoid once I acheive a good rank, and never play again in hopes of not losing it.
3) Not a DEFINATE reason, but I would probably be insulted if I happened to play a bad game with a good rank and lose to a much lower level competitor than myself and lose, and would probably cause my rank to drop several rankings, thus making me so mad, that I either won't wanna play the game anymore, or waste more time focusing on my rank than actually playing the game for a good time.
But this is just for me though.
Whew, glad I got that off my chest :)

The raking should go by how many wins you get.
