I hardly play on live..because there are some assholes on. o.O I just want to have fun, so whenever I'm on, I just look for a good ctf match. I never even noticed I had a rank. >.<

I agree with invalid. Like today i had the most fun i've had in awhile. I joined up in a deathmatch game of 5 people, i used raptor, and we just screwed around with stuff. It was just fun, no whining about when id get a multi kill with a really cheap self destruct, or when somebody would freeze all of us at the same time and headshot us. Nobody cared. We need more gamers like this. Stat whoring is dumb, mainly on uc2. You can get to a 5, thats it!!! You get no recognition, no respect, and no special prize or anything. i'm a 3, and i woop on 4's and 5's all day.

Stats are a joke.

If you actually care about your ranking enough to cheat, you honestly have nothing to do with your life.

You'd think the way cheating is on Live on some games that they were giving away money or something.

Honestly, if you have ever been in the top one hundred in any XBL game, you probably should go outside and get some fresh air.

Amen to that. I agree with BX. I myself just play for fun. I'm a 3 but it doesn't really matter that much to me. If I drop to a two, so what. It doesn't mean anything. The one thing I do like about stats though is how it records your kills and everything that you've gotten on XBL and also the time that you've logged playing the game. I think that's cool.

nobody should play for the stats. the whole point isnt to whore the rankings but to have good solid fun.

I disagree on only some points, soild fun should be the key importance on XBL. but I think ranks are nessasary for trying to play people at your level if you wish to avoid noob slaughter.

however, I let lvl 1s in my room all the time and if they don't leave I try to give them tips to play better.

more people need to help the noobs too.

I agree with yall to a certain degree. Stats are a good thing when you wanna prove to someone that u are better then them but when you cheat for it you just set yourself of for letdown when you get beat by a lesser lvl. What good are stats if you can't cheat to retain them. By the way all of this was aimed at Halo 2.
