in the Ascension rites trial that old guy said to Anubis there are easier ways to do cdg but youll have to find them yourself.
Is there really an easier way for cdg?

The "secret" coup de graces for each character are the "easier" way. Just look around, they're posted in several threads all throughout the forum. Though they're not really that much easier they're better than the completely random ones.

I find its much easyier to memorize one CDG than to fumble around with the random ones. (I can pull a secret one off 9/10 times no prob :p)

whats the difference between a secret cdg and a random cdg? i couldn't find any threads explaining the difference between the two. can someone tell me? how do you execute these the two different cdg's?

The random coup de grace is the one which pops up on you screen, the secret one is a pre-set one for each character that you can enter instead. The differences are two-fold, if your good at a particular one the secret one will be faster and easier then the random one. The second difference is the secret one gives you full adrenaline, whereas the random one only gives you half.

I dont like the idea of secret finishers in this game. All they did was make it easy to cheat.

How do they allow you to cheat? Plus if you bother to memorize it and you can enter it fast enough you deserve the extra adrenaline over the random one. If your talking about coup de grace's in general think about this, they have to be frozen first so you either have to be good at melee, or have gotten one lucky shot since the pistol secondaries are very hard to hit with. Then you'd have to enter it in time, no mean feat since I'm sure the better players have already figured out the instant un-freezing trick.

I am talking about the use of macro controllers which enables a person to preset the combo for a one button Coup De Grace.

Well that's cheap, but people who use that controller are cheap ***'s anyways. Besides, believe it or not it isn't that hard to enter the combination faster than the macro can. It was more meant to do a combination correctly without screwing up than to enter something really fast.

A good many people who don't seem to have to played the game too long say that. (No offense, just what I've observed.) Just practice the secret coup de grace for your preferred character on a second "player" (just plug in a controller for splitscreen and have no bots) and before long you'll be able to do it almost instantly without thinking.
