Ok i live in Australia and have had the game for a day now...
No one was on Xbox live because Australia got the game a little early.
Now when finally i got into a game of only 2 people and an additional 1 bot, i could not move, my player floated around, bounced up an down in one spot, teleported from corner to corner of the room, so much lag it was not even possible to play...
Now that was only 2 players, with 8 will i still be able to play at all? Now this is a big concern because i already love the game, and look forward to lots of online play...But so far it seems like i wont ever be able to enjoy the online experience, now was it just a fluke that the guy had a really poor connnection in relation to mine, or is lag and extremely damaging factor taking distance (to Australia) into account?
Now i dont really want to take another trip to the store to return it because im unable to enjoy the game the way i should be able to, but if within the first week of playing it dont get better i will have to.

Any comments or discussion from the Devs please.

Australia is way more laggy than the rest of the world unfortunately. You were probably just unlucky with the people you found - I'm sure you'll be able to find some Oz based servers for when it comes out, and then it'll run smoother than a buttered pig on an ice rink.

That was only one game, you might have just gotten unlucky with that server. try a few more games and try playing in a few days time, cos hten itll be out in australia, the US and the UK so there will be mroe servers and more chance of finding a server without that much lag on

"make sure your computer is not on"

Wouldn't that make the game a bit hard to play? :)

Not really, depends if you're using a router or not.

Im using a router...

Anyways well now i have to wait 8 minutes so far for every game to join it, and the game has freeezed several times, this is a very big issue.
