Halo 2 is a disaster because of this modem hack, Has Epic done anything to combat this nonsense?

yea you can,i dont remember anyone doing it during matches in wolf though...i think it will be that way in this game too just because youknow when someone is doing it,and its not hard just to leave the server and find a new one...

...i think your going a bit too far prophecy,but thanks again for fixing standby....thats ruined every live game to some extent especially halo2...in my opinion that is.

lol bungie said they cant fix standby...no i dont expect em to fix halo2 im saying they made an accomplishment in all of live history,first game to fix standby.

Bungie will have the update out to fix stanby in a week or two. But that won't get me to play Halo.

2 free maps late april, then later on 5 bucks for 2 other maps then 11.99 for 5 others if i'm not mistaken

In all fairness, it's alot harder to fix stuff like that post-launch. Don't turn this into a bashing/comparison thread or it will be locked.

i think it is pure idiosyncratic when companies charge for DLC. I don't understand that. I could see if the DLC was a whole expansion pack maybe, like...another 3 hours added to my single player, and 15 more maps, and new characters. But there is no way i'd pay for just a couple maps and glitch fixes after i payed 50 bucks for the game. That's what i have against bungie, they're charging money for maps. I don't like that. And they say its because it takes them time and money to create the maps. They made millions of dollars on release night of halo 2. Why do they need more for the maps? I'm not trying to just bash, i'm just using it as an example of how ignorant it is to pay for DLC, and halo 2 is by far the most popular game right now so everybody can relate.

I still like halo 2, and i still play it quite frequently. I think i'm a minority on this forum because of that..
