anubis vs szalor

okay i generally/always use anubis and szalor rips me to shreds almost every time i face him in melee. does anyone have any tips for medium/light characters against heavies?

Attack, dodge, repeat.

Also, be sure to use your shield when he gets close and your not ready, and reflect when they dive towards you.

When it comes down to it, here's a time to lock on, and a time not to. If you aren't using the heavy attack in melee, you don't wanna lock on. The forced camera turning is brutal on your ability to dodge effectively. So don't use lock on, just swing and run by, timing it so the "damage" part of your attack animation is when you are close to the enemy so that is the only part that hits. Using speed helps of course (not worth it as a light character since Speed consumes all 100 adrenaline). To be honest, don't even use the heavy attack unless you are catching somebody by surprise, or are sure you can finish them with one solid connect.

Get the Udamage before he does, it'll make it alot easier to melee with him. Otherwise it just makes things harder for you.

Even with energy burst he still plows me down. UDamage works like a charm though. ;) Might want to use the shield a lot too. If it happens and you see his back facing you, go for the attack. Go in bust him in the head a few times, run back and shield, then repeat. Usually works for me. Also, use Heal a lot too.
