Melee moves for dummies

What are the different moves and combos in melee combat?

R trigger : light slash
B : heavy slash
L trigger : reflect/defence
L+R triggers : shield
Jump + R trigger : charge + zoom across the map to hit target

I've only tried the game once, but I've been quite successful using a simple hit-defend-hit strategy in close quarters and the stinger from afar. Since you guys have been talking about a "pounce move" and combos, I would like to know how to execute these.

During melee duels. Yea it is.

Hit "L" to parry melle hits....if you parry off their freeze hit, it reflected...giving you a chance for Coupe de Grace or whaatever else is on yer twisted little mind.

try deflecting a freeze then sniping them with a head shot. its funny, but it makes people mad.
