Well, if you ever do the best weapons are the rocket launcher and flak cannon. You should find out where they and the "uber" power-ups are on a map, once you do that if you have any skill you should own everybody.

In closed environments maybe... ...but fear if I see you 20 yeards away with LG or SR.

Wanna bet? I fight and win with godlike bots using those weapons and on a REALLY open map the sniper rifle. Heck I nearly turned an onslaught battle using an assault rifle when there was one person on a node. I say nearly because after a few minutes he got a lucky headshot, no, not skilled, lucky. If he couldn't hit me with anything else I doubt he was much better with the sniper.

Godlike bots in DM-Gael... LG and Rocketlauncher, once the bots gets the LG and DoubleDamage it all goes to hell.

Stop brawling with beating theses overpredictable bots (even with godlike they are not a challange like good humans are).
I get my headshots (or at least body hits) and Shock-Hits/ShockCombos on good clanners with my usual ping of about 100.

Oh, and you should have a look at the UT2004 stats and with which weapons the best players in the world get most of their kills with... ...oh, i bet you could easily beat them, as they just don't know what are the best weapons yet... ...but you already found out. ;)


EDIT: BTW, I don't mean the top players in the stats (statsare not suitable for finding good players, I mean people like fnatic.Lauke, GitzZz, CombatCarl, etc... ...there are people on the top DM ranks on the stats that have more kills with the redeemer than with the minigun... ...lolol...

My advice Whistlestick is get comfortable with dodging
and double jump etc.There are different tactics and
little tricks for different gametypes/maps you will
pick up playing, but double jumping, dodging etc is
essential. Also NEVER stand still, ALWAYS keep moving.

I stopped playing online before long because for the most part the people aren't as good as godlike bots. I know I'm not the best and I'm sure some people have developed miraculous skills with other weapons but seriousley. Those three weapons will be an excellent set for long, mid, and close ranges. If your better with other weapons go for it, I'm just giving the guy advise on what some of the best are.

Obviously, you are better then me :D. Or i prefer bigger maps :D heh. Tho i admit it, alot of people are probably better then me, only if more admitted it.

Whenever "IT" (Godlike)bots arent that important to give em a name, they dont have feelings right?) gets the UDamage and is out of rocket ammo. It seems it doesnt want to miss. Hiding behind a post didnt help sadly :( lol.
