Seeing how much people have complained about the random kicking, and I've even seen a few complaints from developers, have you changed it in any way from the demo?

Naturally I love my idea I've posted in two other topics, but to be honest, any change is welcome.

The idea reposted, copied directly from last time. Might possibly be a small rant!
Like I posted in another topic, there should be a fix for this. Only allow hosts to kick people at the end of games when the scoreboards are showing, and during the first 3-5 minutes of a new round (or the first 3-5minutes after somebody joins for that particular somebody).

Then the host or whatever will have to wait til he loses before he can kick people. If the idea that kicking people for no reason is BAD is put into the game in a coded way that prevents you from doing so, then it'll help keep a better atmosphere of maturity in the community simply because it blocks the immature ones.

People who are waiting for friends or whatever can ask players to leave. Or you can kick them in the first 3 minutes after they join. Whatever. But if you let them stay long enough to start doing something, I think they should be allowed to finish.

More stuff I've thought of is..

If the host wishes to turn his Xbox off or leave the game, then make all players who get disconnected auto-send feedback that the host disconnected (because players themselves are too lazy to do it). Power can go out sometimes, internet connections go down, etc, so obviously don't punish a few disconnects, but if someone has 100+ disconnects, it's time they start feeling some punishment. One of the best features in Unreal Championship was the fact the host couldn't do anything if he was losing but cut his Xbox off or leave the game. I LIKED that.

Also, when you get kicked from a server, don't let quickmatch put you back in the server you just came from. :P

I really disagree with that.

A host should have full control over when he decideds to kick someone, because if he wants a friend to join in, mid-game, and has to wait...I bet he/she will get annoyed. I know I would.

If you're having problems with people kicking you constatnly, then either host your own game, or ask a friend to host a game.

I have a problem with games that are ranked allowing people to be kicked. How would you feel if my suggestions only applied to games that tracked your ranking, but not others?

ranked games is a different story. you shouldnt be able to kick better players on a ranked game. would be pointless.

Although I think hosts kicking people because they are getting owned by them and are sore losers is REALLY annoying (if slightly amusing), I do believe in the end a host should always be the boss of his/her own server.
After all, it's his servers, nobody else's.
What I am hoping for is that the majority of people is mature, because if that is the case there simply is no need to invent solutions anymore.

You shouldn't be allowed to kick people in ranked matches, period. That's just stupid, and abuse would grow like crazy.

Aren't all games going to be ranked? and if someone kicks you will you not get the stats for that game?

would be nice if the host can make a private slot in mid-game

If you are playing a clan match, you should make it private slots only and invite your teammates and the other team to play

Maybe I want to play and host some CTF matches on my own server.
Now if some idiot(s) keep coming in and shooting his own team mates I'd like to keep kicking him (I use the official term, "booting" was already reserved) hoping he'll eventually get bored trying to join.
(Actually it's possible to ban somebody for a bit if I remember correctly.)

If I couldn't do that anymore, the only option I'd have it to turn off my Xbox, because games with people trying to screw things up are very not-fun.
Besides, it's my Xbox, I should be able to do what I want.
That's my opinion anyway. :)

if you get kicked from a match you will still maintain all the points you recieved that match. And if people kick other who are better then them, then they wont be recieving "quality kill"(experiance) for killing better players, so i think kicking players should stay how it is now.

If you cant get a long dont play together, kicking jerks allows you to have this option

Actueally in other games, the game will kick team killers automatically or give the victim an option to do so and not allow them back in the server they were kicked from.
