I was reading the character bioses on the select character screen. it shows you all adrenaline combos plus one called awaken without a button combination.
i guess it is just a way to awake very quickly. is there a special combination to press to awake quick. it says wiggle your joystick and press a when your frozen but it doesnt seem to work well for me.

any quick way to do it? and is it different for each character?

Press A repeatedly and wiggle the L stick. You have to do it as fast as you can.

That is a nice touch to the game.

The instructions aren't that clear. Took me awhile to figure out that wiggle meant left analog: quickly moving it "left and right" while jamming A.

Oh, so you don't spin the analog stick, you move it left and right?

Well, that is what wiggle means.

This reminds me of Duke Nukem II, where you had to wiggle to get rid of spiders that latched on to your head.

Okay, you have a point.

I almost broke my thumbstick trying to get out of someone doing a coup grace. Got out right before Lauren got to me, then someone gave me a nice headshot...

Do you wiggle it up and down, or right and left?

Brandon, if you read the thread you would know it was left to right/right to left. Jeebus, read the thread for once to avoid your 99% spammy posts that you make.

Wow, he actually managed to get 315 posts already.
He registered about 4 days ago if I read his profile right, so that's almost 80 posts per day.
That's just... not normal.

I hope he lose some of his posts :)
btw, to stick on the topic, how many times do you have to wiggle (one time is left-right)?

and do you have to do a combination of left right and then A left right and then A. or do you just wiggle left right and hit the A Button as fast as you can. I managed to do it a few times but it still takes to long i think.

I dislike the concept of using the joystick for wiggling, because that's being very hard on it. I would prefer being forced to alternate buttons taps or press a 3-4 button sequence that shows on screen and is randomly generated when you are frozen.

I've got 3 or 4 controllers now that the joysticks are so loose, I can't use them for games like FPSs. So now they sit in the closet collecting dust and I had to buy new ones.

I don't suppose you guys would consider taking our wallets into account when playing UC2? Quality controllers aren't cheap. ^_^

Maybe you don't need to move the stick to its extremities, meaning you only have to move left and right a few degrees to quality a wiggle?
That would mean a speedier unfreeze as well.

Maybe you can also use your D-pad, which I think might also be faster.
Then again you'd have to quickly reach for the stick again once you're done.
The D-pad is already used (2 directions anyway) for other stuff, so that's probably not possible, unless Epic changes it.

I think its a very good way how you did that with moving the stick press a
very authentic when i think about being in a Iceblock

i dont' move the stick all the way, i just barely move it left to right and MASH A, it works awesome. But when you get an oppenent like myself who can coup de grace you before you even know you're frozen, then you just need to learn to reflect.

The problem I have with the freezing is once I hear "FREEZE!" I sometimes assume it's me that did the freezing to somebody, only to find out it's actually me that is the frozen one, meaning I've been hitting the wrong buttons for the past few split seconds.
