3rd person mod for UT2K4?

You can go into 3rd person in UT2004, but you can't really aim the guns.

just hit f3, not all online servers allow it though and u cant really aim (no up or down aiming) so its not any good basicly just good to get and outside view not for game play.

The full command is "behindview 1", or "behindview 0" to go back to first person view.
If you play a gametype with vehicles and can view the vehicle from the outside as well as from the inside with the press of a button; it's that very same button.

I don't think any server online has it allowed though, because you can use it to hide behind a pillar, and still see what's on the other side with it.
It's cheating, sort of...
Of course when everybody can do it if it's enabled, but... that's why it's an option.
Since you can't aim vertically, it's just useful for peeking around corners, be able to see a bit more around you.

You can also type freecamera 1 in console for a 3rd party view that is able to rotate around.

The f4 key thing doesn't help in terms of aiming but this MOD does, its the best 3rd person mod out for UT2k4 and works VERY well. Go here:

Mr Evil has done a mutator named "Aerial View". I makes 3rd person view and a new crosshair. Aiming works too.
