Does anyone have any good tips on how to become great at sniping in this game? Im not very good at it and I would like to get better. Although I think I suck, I do atleast know a thing or two on how to snipe and how to deal with snipers so i'll list some things that I know and I would like others that are excellent snipers and sniper rejectors to give some extra tips. :)
--Sniping--
Having a low sensitivity can help in fine-tining your aim to get a head shot.
If the your opponent is moving predictably then lead your reticle to where their head is going to be and pull the trigger when they line up.
If your opponent is in melee mode and is not swinging their weapon around then your should wait intil they attempt a reflect before you fire.
Never hold down the trigger or fire as soon as the gun is finished reloading. Your opponent may be timing your shots.
If your think that your opponent is going to pounce then run backwards and aim upwards along their trajectory. When they do pounce, pull the trigger and you may just get a head shot.
--Dealing with snipers--
Never run straight lines(duh) or zigzag or jump predictably.
Time the sniper shots, either by counting or playing the reload sound in your head and wait half a second, then reflect and dodge(in case the reflect failed).
Watch the sniper carefully. Some people have itchy trigger fingers and will fire as they line up their crosshair on you, especially when they are airborne. So as soon as you see their gun line up with you, then attempt a reflect.
Becareful when chasing after a sniper. As you get closer, your head becomes a bigger and easier target so dodge frequently to avoid being shot in the head.
