The original UT was probably the most defining, and established Unreal as the king of shooters for some time. UT2K4 is clearly the best one so far.

Unreal Gold, Unreal Tournament, as well GOTY, UT2003 (had it, not anymore, UT2004 (had it, not anymore) Unreal Championship, UC2 demo, and UC2 soon.

I have no favorites, since I change from time to time what I want to play.

I rented it at Blockbuster to check it out. Then a few days after I got the UC2 demo and got hooked into it, so next thing I know U2 had to go back and I never finished my game. I'll probably pick it up and buy it this week to finish it and pass time for UC2.

I only got Unreal a year or so ago, still need to finish it sometime.
I don't have Return to Na Pali yet, but I'm going to get my hands on that too!
I have Unreal 2 (still need to finish that too), Unreal Tournament, Unreal Tournament 2003, Unreal Tournament 2004 (I didn't even start the single player game), and I'll buy Unreal Championship 2 as well, as I like the demo.
Maybe if I can find it very cheap, I'll buy the original Unreal Championship as well, but I don't really see the need.

yeah the only real reason to get UC is to complete the collection , otherwise its kinda lame. I didn't finish U2 either , even though I feel its a VERY underrated and overlooked game that is WAY more entertaining than a certain other game that people like to bash on the UC2 board

It has vehicles, it's just there's no bots or anything. They didn't really spend much time on the MP. It's more of Storymode game, I believe.

My fav is still Unreal 1. Great singleplayer with beautiful and mystic surroundings, varied enemies (I love the skaarj, one of the best enemies in any FPS).
Unreal 1 was a neat multiplayer experience too,
it was easy took hook up (getting online action was'nt as simple as it is nowadays) and the game could be really fun even on a 56k modem.

I liked Unreal I best. It combines good shooting-action with the adventurous quest you have to manage. It becomes harder each level an gives the player the opportunity to develop his/her skills during the game. Most of all I loved the "sci-fi-fantasy"-Level-Design and the music supporting the game.
The atmosphere is simply great!

my favorite is definately ut99 followed by ut2k4. The worst was either u2 or u1-return to nali pali.

Definitely prefer the original UT GOTY, which I often refer to as UT Classic. Even though the graphics portion of the game engine has been advanced since UT Classic was released, there is a special experience on so many of the original maps that yet to be replicated effectively. Quite frankly, I have all but given up hope with Epic, in providing the same experience. So I plead with those that have the appropriate authority to make it a goal in the next gen UT, to provide many of the same maps, weapons, and style of play (DEATHMATCH mode), at least AS AN OPTION (perhaps seperate disk to load as an add-on). Oh, and another thing...enough with the floating capsules already!! Dispense with those kiddy features and bring back the jumping boots. So please design the game for adults too.
