Were you in a game when out of nowhere you get froze, then some random guy runs up and does a cool swingy thing with his swords before exploding you into the next realm? Ever wanted to perform that action? Well, this thread's here to help.

After stunning an opponent, lock onto them, get close, and (for the character you have chosen) enter the following button combo.

If the videos are really recent, it says how to finish during gameplay, like I saw them playing as Brock and a popup came up saying "FINISH THEM!" then put down a combo list. I hope they give the combo during gameplay, it'd erase the confusion 100%

It might not have been brock, maybe devastation, but in any event the character froze the enemy and a popup came up giving the combo.

I don't know if anyone's noticed but coup de grace's give you two two points in dm and tdm. (Not kills, points.)

That's what I said. I didn't notice that until yesterday when I won in tdm with 20 points when I had 9 kills and my ally had 5. (I had been doing coup de grace's whenever I had the chance.)

It automatically gives a tooltip on how to do CDG's when you freeze an opponent on the final version. Jus keep this alive until the final comes out.

Lol, Just keep posting random stuff on here. And keep it alive, I'm pretty sure when the Strategy guide comes out for UC2 it'll have a list of every CDG. Comes out April 6th I believe.

okay so what i heard was that everyone has 2 cdg a random combination that appears on the screen and a hidden one. if so which one are we doing?

There is a random few buttons that appears that tells you how to do the first coup de grace(i think)

and the second is one specified for the character which you can memorize but is hidden and you have to find out yourself or if someone leaks and tells the world

Only Epic, some people that got an earlier build of the game, and a few other people got to play UC2 yet, but I'm pretty sure none of them posted in this thread.
People are only talking about the demo or what is already known as a fact about the game in this thread.

yes, i am involved with the production of UC2. i worked on the programming for a couple of the characters. i dont actually work for Epic, i was just contracted to come in and work on this project for them. if you have any more questions, feel free to ask

It's not unheard of for Epic to get other people to help them with their games, so his remark wasn't blatantly obvious a false claim that would fool only the completely ignorant.
(Even if programming characters seems a strange outsourcing job)

At least by now we know the random CDG does get the alread-pressed-buttons marked as soon as you pressed them.

What is there left to discuss?
The only thing I think not everybody in this particular thread might know yet, is that you will in fact see the entire string of buttons you need to press on your screen at once, and the ones you already pressed will get a gray box around them to make it easier.

Actually the 2nd "No" was about the French version being cool. :)
No offense to you, the French language, the French themselves, or anything, but in general I just don't like localizations.
Both because they usually feel (are?) inferior to the original product, and because things always get lost in translation.
Of course some people prefer a localized version due to a number of reasons, so it's still a good thing if they're available I suppose, as long as people (or at least I) can choose to play (or see in case of movies, read in case of books) the original version.

The game guide I think (not sure, but I remember reading somebody on this forum talking about it) is already being made, and the new content has already been promised.

you've got a point when you say thats french version is bad:

the translated tauts really Sucks (sorry for the word)
and the translations isn't alway easy to read (word-by-word translations are really bads) so i prefer a game in english with somes words that i don't understand (while knowing the "keys words" than a french game badly translated and don't understand 3 sentences on 4 and that i nedd to pause the game for laugh of a taunt (after i've transformed the sentence in a understandable taut XD)

in canada, the french game manual is always with the package of greats games (halo 1 & 2, project gotham racing 2, mechassault, etc )but some games dont have it (some suck**g bad games)
