well i dont know if all of you guys know this but some of the characters in this game used to play a sport called "thrashball" together, i know for sure that Marcus and Gus used to play together, im not sure about the rest, So what do you guys think this sport called "thrashball" is? do think/want something playable like this in the game? i think it would be sweet if they had a flash back moment and it showed marcus a couple years ago and then u get to play Thrashball, i would love that, so maybe they will have it playable or maybe we get to see a lil cut scene about it or something, well i hope they do something with it, So what do you guys think?
btw if u want to make up your own lil version of "thrashball" and what you think it is, go ahead and post the basics of the game and maybe some rules:)

when i first heard about "thrashball" being a sport or whatever it is that Marcus used to play, i was thinking that it was like "Rugby" but a lot rougher. i dont know why, but that just popped into my head at first. i mean it would work, because Marcus is built in this game, he isnt a scrawny little man, he's big! so i think that would work out!:D

I wouldnt mind something were it goes back in time and you get to play thrashball. It would offer a change a pace to the game. I think it would be some type of extreme rugby game.

Check out the June issue of OXM. It has a ton of pages on GoW and talks about thrashball

It didn't really talk about it as much as it "mentioned" it, just that Gus Cole was a champion and that he and Marcus were former teammates.

Must have gotten caught up on the reading because there barely anything about thrashball in the June article. What it talks about is pretty much what we have already talked about. But CliffyB does say for some reason that this is one of his favorite moments in the game.

Yeah, but i might have misread it a little. Here is the exact quote:

Eh, hurts so good. ;) Actually Thrashball is more like American Football with multiple balls, armor, and weapons.

i was thinking maybe "thrashball" could be a multiplayer Gametype, that would be so freakin cool, all they would have to do is add a ball that u could pick up and maybe goals or whatever thrashball has, and then u could have some weapons but its mainly melee and u just push and punch ppl to get eh ball then u can roadie run to the goal or something, lol i think that would be freakin sweet!

hhahha, i loved that movie! well i think it would be really fun to play "thrashball" whatever it is, as a MP gametype, and they could have a couple maps just for thrashball, or some that are altered for a thrashball match!

it should be like rugby but instead of a ball you play with a nade set for like 5 minutes every time a team scores the timer is set back so if its a slow game BOOM!

i think/heard it will be like rugby but with weapons and a ball, u pretty much just melee and beat the crap outta ur enemies/the other team and score the ball in the goal, i wish they have a mini-game or a MP gametype for Thrashball!
