View Full Version : Light Bulb Burnt Out...

It seems that whenever I BuildAll, all my lights just go dead, if I Select all Lights and then Duplicate them, they work just fine, but I don't want to have eight light actors for eac light, and neither do I want to go through my map and delete all the old lights every time I Build All. Can anyone help me? It would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

try changing the light brightness or radius in the light properties

nope, it's all what it should be, it's happened to me once before, I eventualy got too annoyed and ditched the map I was working on.

SOmetimes the lights just crap out.

What I figrued one time was that is was one light that was bad somehow.

So I delete all lights (right click light, selct all lights), then start over, usually works.

Do the lights have any special effects, such as flickering? They work in the editor at first and after a rebuild they stop, but will still work in-game. If they're regular lights, then... i don't know ;)

i've found that sometimes rebuild all takes out the lighting but then rebuilding the lighting on its own will fix it...
