IS this possible??????????????
Having a Jump pad that does not Propel you by merely touching it.
YOU HAVE TO JUMP TO GET THE BOOST, and then you can go in any direction off the pad.
Would I need a custon actor for that???
Basically I have a room with three entrance on the top level. I want each to be reachable from one pad in the middel of the room.
Thanx in Advance

just set the jump pad point above where you would stand, then when you jump, you reach it. You can also use movers to make jump pads activate when you press E, etc.

Well that wont quite get it in this situation.
I canot have it tto where when people fall on the jump pad from above the get that boost.
I'm starting to think 4 sure custom actor is needed.

Could you set up a trigger where they should be standing, and then another trigger above it and then use a Scripted Trigger that activates a jump pad if they are both tirggered within a short amount of time?

Zone info might help. edit the gravity and volocities.
in a few of the maps i've made(unreleased) i have special areas where gravity is higher or lower.
although i don't know how you'd just enable them to jump high with out the slow gravity effect.
by the way, one question mark will do, the extra's don't do much.
