ok so i got a terrain of 128x128 and upped the squares to 512uu each

it appears that unreal dont like it and makes these big weird dots when i try to use layers

how do i make a new terrain with 256x256 with squares of 256uu's each?

i tried using the old hightmap but it didnt work, how do i make the hight map 2 times as big?

The Texture dimensions you use for a Layer need to be the same size as you made the Terrain. 256x256 Terrain, 256x256 Texture.

To make the Terrain larger, just use the Scale settings in its' Properties.

Basically, what you did was make your terrain 128x128, but then you made that dirt layer some other dimension. The fix should be simple: delete that layer, then re-add it, but this time enter the same dimensions in the "layer" tab as you did in the "new terrain" tab.
