Normal meleeing?

Will it be possible to just smack people in the face with the chainsaw or with other guns? Like in Halo? Because that would rock and I don't think it's that hard to implement.

I heard something about a hand on hand combat mini-game between you and a locust where they try to take your gun and you have to fight them off.

99% sure iv'e seen normal melee by Dom in one of the gameplay vids.

melee would be nice. If they do and it, i guess it would be a great option when you run out of ammo. Just hope I dont run out of ammo because I want to pump lead into everyone lungs. I trust you epic.

In one of the demo's Marcus had 100 Shotgun shots...LOL. But it does take like 3 shotty shots to kill em so... They have even said you will be shooten the bastards alot to kill em. and they'll supply the ammo.:D

Yes, there will be regular melee, i remember in some video CliffyB said that you will tap B for a regular melee and hold down B for chainsaw.

Are intimate deaths still in? Those minigames that were supposed to pop up where you struggled against the Locusts with things like you shoving grenades down their throat? Those sounded cool but now that I see a dedicated melee button I don't know if they are still in? Please say yes.

Yes! (i think....) they at least haven't announced taking it away! And they talked about it in the June issue of OXM so... Its still on!(probaly, hopefully)

Ya, on all the videos of gameplay for Gears, the action (moving from cover to cover) looks so smooth!

yes u can Normal melee in gow, the chainsaw it when u hold down the melee button "B" and u get a special melee which is so freakin cool!

I think i heard something like that. A close encounter for each weapon... But that might just be hearsay. That would be rad though!:)

Ya they talked about a countermove. They also said it is kinda difficult to do it without being shot! :) SWEET!

Yeah I hope they balanced it so each weapon has pros and cons because charging and using a chainsaw constantly would be pretty lame.
