I want to change the "HEADSHOT" sound clip. Can anyone help me?

If you edit your sound files, you won't be able to play online anymore

I think you can make your own announcer pack.

You can make your own sound files, you just can't change or overwrite the official ones. Well, you can, but it's not reccomended, because when you go online where every server is running with the unedited stock packages, yours will be incompatable because you modified it.

That sucks, I wanted to replace the HEADSHOT sound clip with the one from the "BOOM HEADSHOT" movie made. In case you haven't seen it you can see it at http://media.putfile.com/FPS-Doug ..... you'll love it if you like FPS's...

I'm not exactly sure how to go about creating your own announcer. I know you can duplicate your favourite announcer sound package and change the headshot sound clip, but I don't know how to get the game to actually recognize the new modified package as an announcer.

Oh, Really?! Try EDITING your original files, and we'll meet on the server, shall we?! :rolleyes:

You sure can make your own packs. This is something totally differen't than editing your original Files! :mad:

You can't just change one. You have to make a new pack.
