UT (any of the whole series) connectivity has never really been a problem as far as i am concerned. Also probems relating to ut connectivity rarely appear on these forums.
Therefore u should be looking for a solution beoynd ut.
As said above, switch off all pc protection, and see if ur connection works. If it starts working, turn on ur protection one by one and isolate whats stopping u connecting.
Ask ur isp if they r blocking connections to ut; what isp are u?

Go buy the real game, don't just say it. You got a false copy with a cd-key you got somewhere, thats why you can't connect. Its the only reason ever someone got such a problem (except maybe when master server is down).

Uh, you are making sure you're connected to the Internet before starting the game, aren't you? You can surf and download and all that good stuff right before going into the game, right?
Do you have any other games installed on your machine? Do they show their server lists?
If you don't have any other games, try downloading some demos (with multiplayer capabilities, of course). See if those server lists show up.
I suppose you could also try downloading the UT2004 demo. See if the demo shows the server list.
These things would at least help you narrow down the problem.

I am having this same problem:

I found this information on the web:
"For the game to work correctly you need ports 7777, 7787, 7788, 27900, and 42292 to be open in your firewall or router."
I work a volunteer job at a LAN center as a Tech. and we would like people to be able to join online games, but be limited to hosting only LAN games. Which of these ports need to be opened in order to be able to see the Internet server list & be able to join them?

Recently the master server has been down several times. I guess you have to wait until it's fixed.
