ok basically wen i make a skybox it looks "boxy" i read u had 2 align it ect.. but no diffrence plz help

most mappers dont just use a box for a skybox. look at some examples of other maps in the editor. get used to using meshes in the skybox aswell. but if you align and it still looks boxey, right click on the texture and go to surface properties. now from there, you will have to manually align the textures. and this can be a pain in the ass. if you try to align it, and accidentally go too far, just hit the undo button. panning isnt easy, but i think it should only be done with textures that are like mountians or something, otherwise, using meshes in the skybox is good too.

Yeah. just look at other peoples maps. That has helped me the most.

Yes, however when you cut and paste a skybox from another level, you have to realign and tweak your brushes and meshes.

lol well i use meshs liek the star ball 1 and then add moon ect.. i made this niec level ill put up on map thing but im still stuck on the adding subtracting cubes thing cus im trying 2 make a tower -.-
