Description: A unique collection of 4 small maps including code that gives you a shieldgun that deals no damage.
Push your opponent off the map to score :p.
Comments:I have no idea where I got the idea from, but the maps are pretty good fun if you like your shieldgun or your opponents being introduced to big nasty traps!

Yes the only map the bots dont work in is dm-sg-windtunnel.. I couldnt find a way to get them to work :p
Yes Punji is the best map in the pack ;)

Reminds me of Killer Instinct and one of the hidden levels where you can knock someone off this floating platform and they fall into the ground giving you an easy win. :up:

Notes on these maps:
On my server, after you play one map, the server switches to the default game type and map. It doesn't matter which map you vote for.
Windtunnel looks like great fun but how do you move up and down? It's a little frustrating.

Right.
On MY server, it works fine, allthough punji takes about a minute to load for some unknown reason ( to me anyway heh ) maybe the server is timing out and restarting?
Windtunnel: Use your shieldgun on the walls ;)

so, is this a mut or a gametype?, if it is a mut, why dont make it a gametype, so you can use a difrent prefix, and the maps wont show up at deathmatch

I'm working on and off on some maps to add to this madness, this has really inspired me... expect a pack vol 2 from me with 3 or so additions to this fine pack. Question though, will you permit me to include the code?

what if there are more than 2 battlers? Give points to everyone? Would rather stick with the suicide..

I would need the custom volume/damagetype because if everything (even bumping players into a big shredding machine) is counted as suicide, no one would be able to score points/win a match. I don't think it's good to have a WaterVolume kill you with a Class.Drowned damagetype when you get thrown in a meatgrinder.... and believe me, I've tried a LOT of damagetypes that would somehow be possible to relate to a meatgrinder death....
As for the multiple players part, the volume would give a point to the one who threw the other player into the volume, so points for everyone is not relevant or wanted...
I NEED SOMEONE TO DO THIS TO COMPLETE SOME MAPS IN THE SECOND VOLUME!!!:) :noob:

Ok, i've played these maps over and over (fun :D) and i've got an idea for a fifth map. It is like spaceduel, but only with two players and a hole in the middle. On spaceduel i find it hard to get someone (especially bots) out to the edge. On my idea, the hole in the middle is to prevent stalemates that ususally occur on SpaceDuel.

Just so you all know, I'm still working on this... nearly got 3 maps done for it. All the testing is being done by myself and my little brother, as these maps are so small it's pretty damn easy to get all the bugs squashed.
As soon as the pack is near completion, I will make an additional thread, with some screenshots and the map descriptions for you to gaze at until it's completely done.
At this point in time, I cannot and will not determine a completion date.

Right, hold down the mouse button at all times. The key to this is timing, so try to get your enemy to mis fire then charge.
Also, if your playing against bots, try to hit them from behind.
