Name: TinyUZ2
Version: 1.2.1
Compatibility: linux\freebsd\windows (i386) + source available
Description:
I once wrote a little tool to make compression\decompression of .uz2 files a little bit easier for linux users. So they could perform some of the actions without the need for an installed version of UT200x.
Today I updated the tool a bit, also fixed it to compile in Windows. So here's a new release of TinyUZ2, Linux\FreeBSD and Windows builds available (only i386). The source code is also available (everything released under the zlib license).

TinyUZ2 features:
- compress any Unreal package
- decompress uz2 files and check for valid Unreal packages
- show a bit of information about Unreal packages (both compressed and decompressed).

note: it does not check if the Unreal packages are completely valid, it will just check the signature, this could be enough for the basic operations.

Can someone explain to be how to use tinyuz2. Every time I try to open it, it opens a cmd prompt for a couple of seconds and then disappears.

you gotta use it with command prompt.

Example: (CD C:\Unzipped\tinyuz2_1.2.1-win32\tinyuz2)
Then, you do this.
tinyuz2 -C FILEPATH - Compress
tinyuz2 -D FILEPATH - Decompress.
or just
tinyuz2
to see all commands.
Gladd to be of service. ^^

This is the best tool ever if you have access to using commands on your server and you have a redirect on your server. You can place it on your server and then compress all of your directories and place it all inside of your redirect without having to upload anything. Linux version is awesome too :D.

THOUGH, I've found a few glitches inside of the linux in which it will try to compile a U package and flat out fail. Not sure why.
