Wow i love the forest level... but i gotta say im not the fondest for that... what is that? some sort of parking structure? well its nice but it reminds me of Far Cry Instinct's mine shaft level... which really wasnt that fun >.< but I should be entertaining in Gears ^_^

im pretty sure that i've seen the second one, but the first one is completely new to me. thanks, those are sum nice ideas for levels. who knows what to expect from the forest level! those things that crawl up walls could jump out of the trees and land on Marcus surprisingly!! that would rule.:D

Yes, the game for sure looks as good as this, they actually said these were from an early build as well. I watched the E3 2006 demo in HD and believe me, it is noticable better than the screens i posted! :)

wow...i must be way behind b/c i havent seen any. they both look awesome and unique. i love how gears of war is keeping it dark and scary kinda like a horror movie =)
the only concern is that my t.v. is so dark i can hardly see on any the levels on any game so i'm pretty much screwed

u can adjust ur TV's brightness and the brightness on your games

The both using the UE3 engine. There is other pics on the June issue of OXM that have concept art but these are not any of them.

OXM and many other websites say its not concept at all. I thought the same thing about the secong one but when it was shown on my TV screen on the demo disc i could tell it was in fact in-game

If you are wondering what that mansion is on about.....its a level. There was a recent publication preview in gamesmaster (a UK gamers magazine) and they showed that mansion level. Marcus goes home because there is a big 'secret' under his basement....que massive fire fights in hallways where you take cover behind clocks, sofas etc. Your cover gets blown away after a while and locusts keep coming up from the floorboards.....thought i'd clear tht up for you...

You shouldn't have any problem scanning it in as long as you acknowledge the magazine, and as long as it isn't a "gentle mens mag."
