Hey, i'm just wondering what time of the year this game is going to be released. I'm hearing a lot about a november/holiday release, but if you go to xbox.com and click on the games tab and look over to the right it shows four games below an upcoming games title bar. And gears of war is one of the four games that is under the upcoming games bar. So i think there is a possibility of a GOW release in sometime late June-August.

Games, Systems, you name it are always pushed back. Game developers what to produce a great game for gamers. Check out this website.

Right underneath the title it says release date: Q3 2006. I have been checking this site pretty much daily for upcoming games and what not. A while back, unless I'm mistaken, it used to say Q4 2006 meaning 10th - 12th month I'm guessing.
Also if you watch the special on MTV2 Gears of War: Race to E3 towards the end CliffyB talks to Bill Gates. Bill Gates asks if it will be ready to launch by fall. CliffyB gets a look on his face. And without hesitation says, we'll make it happen. Draw your own conclusion from that, but i'd rather have a kick ass game the first time around, then a game full of bugs. "It's Worth The Wait"

At Xbox.com they are organized from A-Z... but i dont think it'll come out in the Summer. Right now i Microsoft has been saying Holiday this year, and i really hope so.

Didn't it used to be like in July, but then it got pushed back to November? Right now it's sorta hovering around that 10-12 month area.

GoW is coming out 4th quarter period I would be guessing. Only Epic knows though.

Actually i dont even think Epic knows, lol, they probably got an estimate but dont know exactly.
But hey, i thought Cliffy B said the game was suppose to release in the "launch era" of the 360? like i think they siad 6 months after launch? Oh well, they added a multiplayer mode and polished it up quite a bit so im happy. Just take your time in making it the best game it can be! ^_^

Yea that's what I think too Chaos, epic has some deadline, but probably not an exact releasedate yet.

Last year i thought emergency day would be 6/6/06 but thats to early now so i think they will put it out with the PS3 because microsoft and Epic has called it their kill app.

Yeah the producer also said that if there weren't any bugs it would be out earlier, but hey it will be well worth the wait.

i only hope that it will come out for PC because i dont feel like getting xbox 360 even though i can get it but i like the comp more. As long as it comes out for PC alot of people will be happy:)

And i really dont think PC gamers would have the advantage as much in this game. Because its not a FPS based on getting a cursor on something and shooting as fast as you can. I know for sure though that the controls of moving will be alot smoother!:)

Well the only reason I say they will do cross platforming is because bill gates said the famous halo 2 on vista which is in my opinon is a joke with be able to play with all xbox users.

EPIC is good at proventing hackers (at least when i play UT2K4) i dont really witness any problems! :) Hopefully if they do this it will be the same case! Plus we have mics so it will be easier to communicate! :)
