View Full Version : Changing a texture flag... Unlit or Unlit [solved]

I was playing with lighting trying to figure out what looked best when I flagged a texture on a BSP brush to Unlit to see its effect. All fine but I was not too happy and decided to untick Unlit  it point blank refuses to get unticked no matter what. I wouldn't have minded too much but it is a rather complicated subtraction and I doubt if I will be able to mirror my first attempt. Is there a way to force the ED to accept my change back to Unlit? It is not completely hashed but it looks too light in that particular area and was looking at ways to "darken" that area a bit. Dang. :(

Sidenote

I also have a botpathing problem. I followed Blitz's bot tutorial and I have a raft of white paths but still I have the "shall I drive this vehicle or shant I drive this vehicle" bot syndrome where they board a vehicle and then get out. Would'nt be so bad if the opposite team did the same but they seem to grasp the idea!!! and yes both are identically pathed, virtually to the single uu. I will still attempt to remedy this the hard way, trial and error!!

Rebuild lighting, also did you click the checkmark to have it only go gray? I have this happen myself, and you check it once more it dissapears

99% of the time they jump back out because they can't find a driveable path to the objective *and back*. Check that there are arrows *both* ways all along the roadpaths.

Click the "Unlit" checkbox twice. The first time the check-mark will turn grey, the second time it'll actually disappear.

One thing I made sure of was the white paths and for both directions. It is not a constant problem though as 1 game out of 5 say they may actually drive/fly off. I will just plug away at it.

Thanks for the replies.
