Why would you ask such a horrible question. Your Mr.Evil arent you? Im gonna have to say Gears of War. It's fresh, its new and its comming our this year. Im getting Halo 3 anyways so this question is irrelevant.

I'm looking forward to Gears more because of it's somewhat "unique" kind of gameplay, how they make cover cool in this. We have yet to see anything for Halo3 except for the trailer or two that are out there. I think that Gears will have better graphics for the simple fact that its running on the new Unreal Engine 3 :D . So unless Bungie pushes their engine to the limits, they wont be able to beat Gears' graphics, maybe they will be just as good, but right now I think that Gears will be 10x better. Gameplay, and Graphics wise!!:D

How is the question irrelevant? i asked what your more excited about not which are you going to buy.... why would epic cut this topic, are they scared of compitition? I compare 2 soon to be great games and GoW finnatics lose there minds. I would hate to see the drama this would set if god forbid the game was cancelled, how about we lighten up a little huh?

Halo 3 has no facts out, just a preview trailer, your basing your opinion based purely on the hype. And its against the forum rules to compare the games, as I'm sure a Mod will point out.
Stop-and-pop > Run-and-Gun :)
FPS games are great fun, especially Halo. But I'd chose a Tactical Third Person Shooter over a First Person Shooter any day. The cover system is what I love about Tactical TPS games. In a FPS game you basicly look into a wall when you take cover. In TPS games you can blind fire and slam yourself into a wall and take brief looks towards your opponents without being seen.
Both Gears of War and Halo offers two exciting and original stories, though, but I am a lot more excited about GoW than Halo.
I'd hate to have to chose between them hehe.

Ok flaming, ill try this again. Which are you more EXCITED about, if you enjoyed Halo 2 and are looking forward to Halo 3 you could be more excited over it, plus if we are basing only off a trailer whyd you vote Halo 3?

You're asking this question on the official GEARS OF WAR site. What game do you really think people are more excited about?

I think we've had enough warnings about this, we're going to start giving warning points for it.
