View Full Version : Adjusting Animation Browser View?

This is probably a really easy question for the regulars of this forum to answer, but my search has turned up nothing.

What I want to know is, when adjusting the view in the animation browser in UED, can you move laterally along any or all of the axes and if so, how? I can only seem to rotate around the Z-axis by moving the mouse left/right and to rotate along the Y-axis by moving the mouse up/down. My scroll wheel and third mouse button don't appear to do anything to adjust the view.

Surely there have to be other ways to adjust the view because I can't work with the models very well with such limited controls.

Navigation in the animation browser is the same as the 3D viewport. LMB for moving along the XY plane and rotating left/right, RMB for looking around, and both for moving along the Z axis and camera-perpendicular axis.

Thanks for the info.

Using both buttons simultaneously at least closes some of the gap in the view flexibility. The controls are still a little clunky and restrictive, but I guess I can live with them.

I am also surprised that the view and controls do not automatically center and rotate around the model being viewed. Is there no way to enable that?
