My original post seems to have been lost, I'll try again.

I'm trying to set up an Advanced Server Administration Server for UT2004 v3339 under XP SP2. After carefully modifying the UT2004.ini file according to the manual (to activate the Advanced Server Administration mode) The AdminPassword field no longer appears in the "Server Rules" page. If I can't set the AdminPassword I can't use a web browser to login to set up user accounts.

What have I missed? The manual clearly states that the Adminpassword field should appear on the "server Rules" page.

Help?

Thanks in advance.

Are you using xadminaccesscontrol? If so, that's probably why. Just look for the xadmin.ini and you can set your pass in there.

I knew it had to be something this simple. The directions in the printed manual are completely wrong :D

Thanks for your help!

I think you'll find that the manual is pretty much worthless when it comes to setting up/running a server.
