View Full Version : vctf making vehicles bound to their bases

Oookay, so how does one go about making their vehicles bound to like the red flag base, or the red team? I have pored over a vctf map, and see nothing other than volume>properties>volume>location name, but that does not appear to do the trick.
I want to put some of my vehicles in the proximity of the other base, and vice a versa. (vctf joust anyone?)

You need a custom factory that does not auto set the vehicle based on flag proximety

That's a littel more complex then I would (and have) coded it...

Thanks guys, but something to do while building the actual map was what I was looking for. Like when you place a spawn point, you can just assign it to a team, I was hoping that the vehicles were coded as simply as that. Suppose not. Of course just looking at how complicated just making a simple map without even vehicles in it... heck you wonder what happened, you know? UT broke new ground in how simple things are to do... now this.
