Who is Anya?

Epic even hinted around about her being playable in MP,who is she?...and what others duties does she have,besides being Marcus's guide?...sorry if this has already been threaded...but i'm very curious

As far as I know she's just the Delta Squad dispatcher. I'm assuming she guides the player in the same capacity as (sorry Cliffy for giving this comparison again, it must be getting annoying for you guys) Cortana in the Halo series.

Why compare it to Halo ton's of games have a radio "dispatcher" telling you what's up with your mission and where to go next.

She was the one who sent Cortez back in the future and guided him hehe

But she looks like a high level solider to me... maybe a commander or something hehe

Put it this way, she is probably gonna be some sorta guide. There doesnt need to be comparison's to anything. This is an original IP. Also Im sure there are gonna be some sweet scenes with her. IM SURE OF IT!

she is the Guide from HQ that radios marcus and dom about stuff, i dont think see will be playable in MP b/c she doesnt fit the character model, she would be too skinny and small and hard to hit, and it would look weird since she has no armor and no place to put ur guns, but i could be wrong, WHERE HAS EPIC HINTED THAT SHE IS PLAYABLE IN MP?

Wait.. dont tell me its the same person who speaks to Marcus guiding him through the mine cart demo at X05...? Cuz seriously, that person sounds like a young boy (no offence to the voice actor if its a chick)... I guess im watching a few more animes then i should be hehe, Japanese voices are always so high >.<

to put her in MP,all they have to do is fit her with a lighter version of armor...same as what Marcus has...and blam,instint lighter and quicker character, the done it in the Unreal series

The reason I bring up the Halo 2 thing is because SOOO many people have been saying " this is the next Halo!" or " Will it sell like Halo 2?" and all that stuff. I just figure that kind of thing would get annoying to a team who has spent so much time creating a completely NEW world with NEW characters and an original storyline to keep being compared to the stuff that's already out there. So while I wasn't comparing this game to Halo in terme of quality (this game'll DESTROY Halo in that area!) I was just comparing the roles that the two characters (Cortana and Anya) play.

anya is this really hot guide chick. she serves exactly the same as for example cortana from halo. she gives you info, entertainment, stuff etc. so anyways marcus sees her, she sees him, they make eye contact and you have this whole love at first sight thing going on. so during the game, in the parts with no action, marcus calls her they talk, they converse, they flirt so to speak, and they get a relationship going. things start to get deep until the fourth act when this guy from delta sees her called baird. he hits on her and marcus gets pissed. then we get a rivalry between marcus and baird fighting over anya but it turns out shes ****ing cole instead. so yeah she plays a really big role and her character is well developed and we can really see her relationship between her and all the other characters. the emotions run really deep.
