Version:UT2004, ut2004 editor 3.0 and photoshop7 is used!!


Description:The map is on a large planet called Cylon everything on the planet as nature is large also the map has airstrike and all vihicles!! Just cool!!

Added this nice map to the VeC Site (http://vec.be/page.php?id=260) so you can rate, search, and download some more maps, mutators, mods, utils, if you register :) You can also add your clan homepage or any other links that has to do with UT, UT2K3, UT2K4 :)

Looks nice, runs well on a lower spec machine. :up:

Unfortunately, the team balance is a bit off :( Players on the red team can quite happily spawn at their powercore jump in their goliath and reign firey death down on the blue's first powernode without having to move.

Whereas the blues... well, they're just screwed ;) ... Still, it's a challenge! And as always..blowing stuff to bits is gooood :up:

*edit* It actually plays much better than what I said up there :confused:

lol yesterday online my map whas in the top1 list and it whas just a mapping try:eek: !!
It whas my first onslaught map after 5 months ''I go make more of them they are getting better:D

This map is gorgeous plain and simple .... :eek: :eek: :D :up: and the fps is great ... man I loved going at it on this map but I was puzzled by the two node approach ... is just something that affects the IA playsers only or was it designed with just two nodes in mind?

Great looking ... alien tropical ... :up: :up: :D

I just designed it with 2 neutral nodes and maked a link setup!!
This is just the problem but it's cool!!'' bleu team can just destroy red neutral node easy but the red team has airstrike near the bleu neutral node soo they can do it also''!!
Also I like to play hard maps soo I never make them easy ''for me it is just some fun'' lol:D
The map just plays fast and loading the same but it's just difficult:p

Yeah I hear you ... I am a Scorpio, water sign so I too love nature and nature maps ... Antalus was my fav DM map ever up until recently ... and I love maps with water so go for it ... my eyes will certainly be peeled. Peace. :D :cool:

I am the one who will be releasing Cylon as a Vehicle Invasion map with the kind permission of Darkmatter. Full details on changes are all in the readme but to put it simply is a change in spawn layout, pathing and extra weapons and ammo. It will be 1 of 16 ONS maps that I have tinkered with to make Vehicle Invasion (or regular Invasion with a mutator!) a better experience.

Hats off to Dark for a fun map. :D

Found a slight problem. Maybe not so slight, if it happens online too.

I've always played on the blue team, so I was kinda surprised when we blitzed the reds twice in maybe ten minutes and the announcer says 'Red team wins!' Now, if it's a bot match you can always say 'Big deal, I know who won',but if the red team always wins on multiplayer, some people who can play that way might get a bit upset when they get losses put on their permanent record. I wouldn't care, personally, as my short career has about as many defeats as victories anyway. But if anybody on UT is as rabid about their stats as some of the guys I played Starcraft with...

Ok, I tried the map again to see if I could recreate the problem. Something I didn't notice the first time through: did you mean to leave that gaping hole by the health by the lower left core? The way the ground just suddenly breaks off after the health makes me doubt it.

Oh, and as for the outcome... hard to say. I remembered to turn RPG off this time, and we got beat in the third round. :D

Also about the slight problem: the red force has near the first bleu neutral node an airstrike soo they can just have easely the bleu 1 down and also the bleu force can easely kill the red one:p
Why should I make a map easy there isn't fun anymore

Think you missed the point there, Dark... we won. Slaughtered 'em. They never touched our power core, or even made it vulnerable, either round.

They still got the win.


Tried to see if it'd happen again - this time we won in three rounds and it gave us the win. I'm going to see if I can win in two rounds again, maybe that's what did it.

The map has just a default link setup if you wanna change it just make 1 more by your self:sour:

Ok, I finally managed to beat it in two rounds again. Either the error was my computer's fault, or this map gets buggy when using RPG.

Good thing this isn't actually a bug with the map. I can tell it never would have gotten fixed.
