Forgive me if this has been hashed out already. The search button isn't working.

Everytime I set xGame.xCTF in the levelinfo it reverts back to XGame.instagibCTF after every rebuild, play now or quit. I can't get it to stay at CTF. If I load the map normally under UT2K4 it plays fine. So the problem maybe mute, but it is still bugging the pee out of me.

3DBuzz peeps if this looks familiar yes I've post there too.

make sure the name is CTF-this map's name. Cause u dont even need to change the map type sometimes if u save it with the appropriate prefix! :p

Yeah, it does play alright. I'm gonna try a rebuild and save on a different machine to see if it's that particular install of UEd. Maybe UEd on my laptop is hosed.

my guess, is that the old ctf class is obsolete, and that the instagib one, will let it support instagib, as well as original ctf. And is more or less irrelevant. :D

Well got it figured out, but unsure what exactly what fixed it.

I tried a rebuild on my main game machine, no dice. Same results as the laptop. Both are running the latest patch. Moved it to the wife's machine which is on the first retail version (no patches).

When I opened and redid the xGame.xCTF and rebuilt it. It changed the .xCTF to .xCTFGame. I guess that Game part is really important. Move it back to the other machines w/o problems now. All is good to go.
