iirc in dm-cbp2-tensilesteel there's quite a few textures like that...not sure if they are custom textures or included with the game though

Look into the Mylevel package when you open that map. If they are there then you know they are most likely custom and you need to ask permission from the author.

and how I bot path a lift? if you have the dvd se there is an entire vtm on this very subject. if you dont however ill explain it very basically. you have to put a liftcenter on the lift so that the bots know it is an elevator, then you need to put liftexits where they can get off, and make sure in the liftexit you specify what keyframe of the mover the bots can get off it at

myLevel is a maps internal package...if you open up the texture browser and click open you'll have a ton of external packages to choose from...what myLevel does is instead of saving the textures/meshes/sounds as an external package...it saves it inside the map itself...so you don't need to distribue an extra file when posting the map up...

in AS-Glacier, after the bridge there are a couple meshes that look like trhat.
edit
or
you can make the tex all by yourself, if its just lines, it shouldnt be so hard.

how do i put the lift center (i know what actor is but i seem to cant place an actor on the ''lift'' just right click on your mover and place the actor there, make sure you dont put any regular pathnodes on the mover or the bots might get confused.

just right click somewhere next to the mover/lift on bsp or something add the lift center and then move it manualy then give your movers a tag "anythingyouwant" then in the liftcenters properties it says lift center you expand that and it says lift tag thats self explanatory.
same with lift exits they have lift tag to.
make sense?
