Can the Free Dedicated Retail Server(v3186?) be patched to v3270? Or is there a Download available (v3270)? Or do I even need to worry about it?

Yes, just copy the content of the patch into your server folder(s).

Or you could just execute the file, put in the path to the server root and do it the easy way.

If you only have dedicated server on your machine, then you can't run the patch because ut4mod files are not registered with Windows. Unzip and unzip the file and overwrite your existing UT with folder names and you'll be "aight".

It worked for me :D BTW it is not a UT4mod file it's an exe file.
Maybe you should try it before you say it dosen't work.

It could be but it isn't, the file for Windows is an exe the one for Linux is not out yet and will always be an after thought. And yes most everything does run on Windows. So piss off fan boy.

I know the win2000 blows, but I will but updating to xpPro for this server machine.

Im a little slow in that I didn't understand the Unzip/unzip method of updating with dedicated server only.

Ill keep working at it, and welcome any suggestions/walkthru's

Thank you
