How to disable "sound mutator"?

It seems that every German server has this lame sound mutator. You know, with triggers like "camper", "clint" and then there are those annoying German taunts. It's so nice to suddenly hear a very high "Hitler" voice (just like the real guy having one of his nazi speaches).
About every min, mostly 2-3/min, some lame Germans (who other would trigger a German taunt) trigger these taunts. Sometimes I wonder if all they do is push buttons. Maybe they have the taunt trigger on fire or jump or something...

Well, anyway. Can you turn the "mutator" off?

Tick "standard servers only".That´s what I did.You´ll only get like 20 servers but these aren´t the ****ty newb servers with bighead and zounds.
btw,I´ve seen maybe 5 servers with this mutator but the admins all deserve to be shot.

zounds is so horrible, you just get all the people sitting around laughing it up at the stupidness, one of my clanmates wanted to put it on our server...


ffs, glad our admin put the foot down!

I play on a couple of zounds servers and am thinking of looking elsewhere to play.

It was fun at first in the right hands. Now it's just stupid when it gets spammed over and over. Also, every once in a while a zounds trigger will lag me momentarily and cause a suicide :mad:.

I just wish I could mute it client-side.

I've heard a lot about this, I'm glad I've never personally experienced Zounds. :bulb:

i searched if there was a thread in the usermods forum about zounds but couldnt find any.the creator is probably scared...

Lol, yeah he should be.

Damn, so no way to turn it off. The problem is that sometimes it's just one of these servers that have good ping, or there are only boring maps on the other servers. I remember when I played UT99 it had so many more TDM servers. Now everyone plays ONS instead I guess. Sure, I like ONS but I can get tired off it…especially after loosing round after round after round. Just simple TDM is great sometimes.

When I posted about this horrible mut ruining a very good carball server, there were a hell of a lot of people sticking up for it, saying it was fun and I needed to lighten up...
