This package was built with UT2K4VoicePackager by Paul Catalano. I loved MK and wanted to make a voicepack for UT2004, I like it, hope all you Mortal Kombat fans do too.

So is it just the anouncer voice or characters too? Are different characters in different packs? Probably not, there wouldn't be enough samples for that, though I haven't played the later games.

It's a mixture of the announcer and the characters, altho I would have loved to have included more but finding the samples was really hard.

The samples are from the arcade game back in the mid 90s.

actually you could add some some voices for the orders, but hearing liu kang shout when you make a kill makes up for it :)

What y'all think? I know it could be better but I'm happy with it, I may release a version 2 when I get a few more wav files.

This one is great. MK was always one of my fav games. It is funny how this brings back memories of me and my best friend duking it out in the arcade for who would buy the next round in the game.. Thanks. BTW Your LOG voice pack is also top notch. I am not sure yet if this one will take the throne over that one. I just wish antiTCC would let me use these during on-line matches. But that is ok. I would rather use the default voice than have cheaters!!

i will d/l nad let you know, i'm a big fan of MK and i'm doing a MK deadly alliance map for ut2k4 soon. Having the MK announcer as a announcer in ut2k4 will be wicked.

Go to your player set up screen and choose the voice pack from the drop down list.

To make a bot use the voice, look under the custome bots tab in game setup (you have to change to custom bots in match setup), then again choose the voicepack from the drop down list.

**EDIT**Just looked up some more info, hope this helps:

TO INSTALL THE VOICEPACK:

Simply doubleclick the Umod file ine the zip folder or:

TO INSTALLTHE VOICEPACK MANUALLY:
Place all files in the System directory of Unreal Tournament 2004.

sorry its took me so long to give you feedback:down: . I checked out the pack and i've got a few things to say about it, at the moment i'm mixed out it.

The announcer mk voice is good and should be done for a ut announcer, i'm a huge mk fan and would love that (in fact i'm doing a dom map based upon shang tsungs acid bath arena from M.K deadly alliance), but the voice itself sounded old and wasn't the exact best quality (not your fault) maybe a newer and more modern voice, like the one from MK deadly alliance or the latest game MK deception.

The other taunts were ok, but in some ways didn't fit and some ways did.

I personally think a MK announcer pack should be done, and should use the modern MK voice and not the old one, hopefully this is something you can do.

The main problem I had was getting the samples in the first place so I had to use the announcer ones as they are the most well known.

I guess they would be better as an announcer but then again I don't know how to make an announcer pack and just wanted to make a MK voicepack for people like myself who love the game.
