Just wanted to show everyone my work in progress artwork on Marcus. I'll be doing a bit after like with some of the enemies and even full paged pieces just for Gears...

anyways heres my work in progress at the moment, its just Marcus' face... ignore the suit, its alittle out of porportion... ill be fixing everything up this week... hopefully before my calculus exam I still need to fix a few features on the face aswell such as shading in the... is that a bandana? and defintly the lips, it feels way too small... the nose looks big but strangle its in porportion with the eyes, Also i dont like the little beard, gotta fix that up. Anyways tell me what you think and ill keep this thread updated ^_^

Nice work, we have alot of people here that are either good at photoshop or something pertaining to that, its great!

Nice job, I draw,too. But I have no idea on how to put it on the computer. Actually I guess you'd need a scanner. Oh well.:D

that looks great
i like the way the eyes are. they are all dark and piecing, just like i'd expect
but don't forget the scars on his lip, that makes him look pretty cool

More coats of shading, alittle more detail, and of course a bit of the shoulders and chest plate... Its not my biggest one i'm working on so it wont be THAT big, ill be doing more in the near future.

Im gonna start a drawing of a generic COG soldier, but be warned, it will probaly be off on the detailing of armor because alot of the pics online are very dark screens. (Very shadowed etc) Plus i pretty much suck at drawing anyway! :)

Dude, that's some impressive stuff right there. I'm good at that kind of stuff, it's just things like where there are a lot of things happinin. I'm trying a battle in a canyon between COG and locust and I keep putting things out of porportion.

very nice my friend...i've drawn Marvel like stuff since i was 10yrs old...and i'm 35 now.I even do tattooing on the side,and i'm pretty well known around here for that.So keep it up dude, your pretty talented

i don't know how to do it,but i want to have my own web page...someone needs to clue me in,on how to do it...i don't have a scanner here at my house

I've drawn comic book art, too since I was in middle school. I was a late bloomer in terms of really getting good. I started drawing my favorite sports figures in high school, used to have my buddies come up and ask me to draw stuff for them to hang in their lockers. I never even took art till my senior year. Now I work so much, I never draw anymore at all. But last summer while I was working security I drew some awesome Star Wars pics including Yoda with the lightsaber, that made me see I can still do it. Keep it up man!!

Not bad, but, just for improvement, make his face a bit shorter. He looks kinda like an indian. Other than that great work!

Looking good in the naiborhood. Thats some very good work i'v seen all day.
Cant wait to see the finished work. I have tryed drawing marcus too but he came out like a watermellon head. i would say im a pretty good artist, Seeing your work makes me want to draw, so iv started drawing baird with his goggles over his eyes screaming while shooting his rifle.


P.S. iv been drawing seince i was four and now im nine-teen.
